Grinders Above & Beyond

I never have a bad meal here. I dine in or get carry out several times per month. I only comment is that I wish they offered specials and/or new dishes from time to time. I know their menu like the back of my hand so it would be nice to see something new - even if the items were just weekly features.

We were seated for 15 minutes and not one person even offered us a drink. As we were leaving, the couple that just got seated about 4 minutes before we got up and left was getting served! We literally sat there for 15 minutes (or more) waiting for someone to even say hello or offer a drink! Never have we EVER got up and left a restaurant before. That was the worst service we’ve ever had at any restaurant. I never leave reviews; however, I left and immediately left this one. I’m genuinely upset that we came to have dinner here, and we had to make the choice to leave because we didn’t even get served or spoken to in 15 minutes.

Love going here to eat. Close to the house and they're food is always great, no matter what you get. I'm addicted to the Steak and Bacon Grinder and the potato skins. It's what I usually get every time. Lately I've had a few of their dinners. The seafood combo and the shrimp. You get s lot of food! If you like salads, you can select that as one of your sides. They come out cold and large, for a side salad. It doesn't matter what dressing you get, they're all good. Their French Onion soup is my favorite, the pistachio pie my favorite desert. If you're lucky you might get a piece. It always sells out fast.
