Kin Kitchen

I was one of the musicians who played at October's "First Thursday" event, from the duo "The Whiskey River Boys". We were treated with courtesy and respect from the moment we arrived, the stage was all set with a very nice in-house PA so all we had to do was "plug in and play". The staff really looked after us, the acoustics were terrific and the clientele very warm and friendly. I can't wait to go back.

Just popped in for a coffee with hubby. Was a bit unsure whether to order at the counter or if it was waitress service. I did the former, but I think I should have waited for the latter. Tensions were high as we sat at a table reserved 45 minutes later. Would we drink our coffee in time? Staff looked nervous...in the end they swapped the reserved sign for another to give us an extra 15 minutes. Panic over, we were finished with 30 minutes to spare 🙂 Coffee was delicious. Flat white lovely and hot. Latte very tasty too. Would definitely go back if in the area and try the food too.

I've only been for coffee several times, but they make an excellent mocha, staff are always friendly and service good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is a pet peve of mine. No prices on the cakes, some of us have to watch what we spend, it embarrassing to have to ask how much a slice of cake is then have to say ohhh no I can't afford that. I was told the cake I wanted was £5. So many restaurants do this and it really puts me off.

We visited Kin Kitchen for breakfast after staying in one of the gorgeous appartments they have. I chose the vegetarian breakfast which was really delicious. We had a very warm welcome and all the staff were really welcoming and attentive. Lovely decor, I'll be back in the summer to sit in the garden which looked lovely under a layer of snow!

Wasn't expecting this to be as lovely as it was. We went for a Saturday tapas dinner. The garden is a delight, and the main restaurant interior is full of character. Food was really interesting, and delicious, with lovely fresh ingredients. Makes a refreshing change from the typical fried food with excessive portions you so often get. Staff were also super friendly and attentive, excellent all round experience. Will be back.

I had been stalking Kin on Instagram and finally got to go. Lovely clean, bright and fresh interior. Sadly there was no room for us in the garden but there will be a next time! Food was very good, beautifully presented and very tasty. All four of us had different things and everyone loved what they had. Portions were good for lunchtime but if they are smaller than you would like there's a great range of cake too. Plotting our return already.
