Delicious Pad Thai and crispy beef - so they do the Chinese part and the Thai part of their food very well (I normally don’t like places who think they can do multiple cuisines;) service is super quick - you won’t get all dishes at the same time because staff is delivering one dish at a time to the whole restaurant :) but don’t worry it really doesn’t take long for them to bring everything. Very impressive.

If I had to rate my experience at Hot Wok on Monday, when I went with my friends, in categories. It would be a five star for customer service, five star for the meal, five star for the setting/how clean it was, and five star for the lack of the wait. Overall the entire experience was wonderful, and so were the kitchen staffs Uncle Roger impressions.

A Combination Chow Mein was my choice for a take away dinner and I wasn't disappointed. The generous serving of succulent beef that melted in your mouth, deliciously tender chicken and crisp vegetables in a very tasty sauce was excellent. Served with crispy noodles in a side container. I asked for no prawns and they were happy to oblige. I would highly recommend Hot Wok. Yum!

We have dined here many times for many years when we come to Mackay. Tonight the meals were smaller serving than usual and the barman normally comes for our drink order just after we sit down, tonight the restaurant was so quiet so he had no excuse. The Philippine waitress we had tonight was so lovely and friendly. Overall Very disappointing $75.00 not well spent unfortunately

Dined at hot wok on Thursday. There were 10 of us and we shared meals on the round table. Everything was tasty. Especially honey chicken and beef n black bean. Grandkids had fried icecream for the first time. They loved it. Only criticism there was they preferred the vanilla icecream balls to the chocolate ones. Staff very efficient and friendly. Atmosphere lovely.
Recommend highly.

The food is delicious. Plenty of friendly staff providing table service. Plenty of tables. Was a few people here. Careful... The food comes out from the kitchen quickly and is very hot.

Had a take away garlic prawns with cashew cashews and a special fried rice. The prawns were ok with 8 prawns, some vegetables and cashews. The special frid rice was disappointing as it didn’t have any noticeable meats etc and was mostly rice. The prawns were a 3.5 star and the rice is more of fried rice than a special fried rice hence a 2 star rating for the rice and overall 3 stars. May try them again.
