Probably one of the best fish and chip shops I’ve been to. Reasonably priced and the chips were double fried which means a delicious crunchy outside and soft inside. There’s a large variety on the menu and the food is rather quick to come out. Perfect meal to take down to the beach on a weekend. Recommend the family pack with extra calamari which was so good!

Chips - great, half cup is a huge portion for one.
Tartare sauce - to die for! Phenomenal!!!!! Strongly recommend you get a serve, it's 2.50 but it's great and supposedly homemade.
It's the fish that loses a star for me. I got the mackerel. Beautifully crumbed, but fish wasn't great for me, seemed dry and tough.
Could be my bad luck, they do seem to have heaps of glowing reviews, maybe I got an older piece or an off cut.
Service quick and friendly, they seem well started and able to handle the rush.

Nice chip shop that was very popular on a Sunday. For this reason there was a bit of a wait. Serving size of chips was decent, nice and crunchy just needed more salt. Potato scallop was huge and smothered in batter - so good! Prices seem fair

YUMMO! It's been about 10 years since going here. We tried it the other weekend with two fish and chips. Deeelicious! Ate half a serve each then put the leftovers in the airfryer the next night and demolished it all. Hands down, Vellas is the best for seafood. Burgers are the next trial menu item. Oh, make sure you order ahead!!

Nice clean shop. Staff are professional and friendly. Fish was good size and cooked to perfection. Was supposed to open it up and find there was no lemon 🍋🍋🍋🍋

Food was great, Phone Order and was ready by time i got there. it was correct as i ordered. It was Hot and Fresh. Definitely glad i tried it here i will be back.
