Location is great. Went for Sunday lunch and seemed to have limited menu. Food didn't quite live up to expectations. Would like to try dinner tapas one time. Looks great for groups and afternoon/evening drinks! Could do with a bit of a make over - has a lot of potential!

We booked Maria’s for a surprise hens night! The staff were very accommodating with us, offered to help with decorations and set up. The restaurant was so booked out meals were late and some drink orders didn’t come but the staff still made every effort to do their best and because of that the night wasn’t a complete disaster. They were very apologetic at the end of the night as it was just a super busy night! I will still return as the staff made it great and the atmosphere were perfection! and the bride was happy and that’s the most important thing!

Great food and drinks, beautiful location overlooking the river. Wonderful for sharing.

Food was good. Location is amazing. Service was hit and miss. They stuffed up our food and drink orders multiple times and then argued with us when we went to pay saying we had to pay for the stuff that they sent out wrongly even tho we didn't get it. Until the young lady behind the bar stepped it and fixed everything. Would go back purely on her service alone she apologised and fixed it straight away. Bad service or not great spot to just relax listen to some live music and drink some refreshing drinks.

Went here with a group for a friends farewell. We were on the deck over the river which was nice. There was a live band which set a good atmosphere except it was too loud for a conversation. The food was nice, but portion size is disappointing and we left feeling hungry.

Very disappointing. Was there with my son for Mother’s Day in which the food and service was exceptional and after so much bragging to friends and family we decided to go there on Friday night. After being seated we were only given 2 menus so while the others were looking we had to wait. Staff were all over us at the start as if they didn’t have any designated areas to work in. Finally got the menu and we ordered our meals, then the staff disappeared. Friends then ready to order and were told the meal won’t come out with ours and they will have to wait. Our seafood board arrived (which was nice by the way) and nearly finished when our friends entree arrived being very dry nachos with hardly any cheese and Thai’s beef salad which was a salad mix from Woolworths opened up and burnt leather beef chucked on top with a drizzle of dressing. After eating very little their plates were removed and us staring at an empty seafood board still. Asked for drinks, still no service although our card was at the counter so we wouldn’t do a runner. After an hour had passed and still no main meal for friends we couldn’t find anyone to voice our concern and eventually was given a refund on the fail to appear main meal advising that it was ready earlier but went to another customer. Sorry Maria’s Donkey the place is run by donkeys and staff too young and scruffy and needs to change if you want to succeed.

Vegetable stack was nice but the pizza was horrible. Chicken tasted fishy, the base was thin and broke apart like it had come straight out of the freezer, bland toppings- not tasty in the slightest! Horrible food after waiting over an hour for it to be cooked. Very disappointed. I told staff and was sim Oh told they would pass on the message. Not good enough for the price guys.

I wouldn't call this a tapas bar anymore.
You can't get a selection of foods. Instead you order meals from a set menu and you are given 2 plates for meals you order to be shared. The same as you could do at any restaurant.
The entree (salt and pepper squid) was ordinary at best, I've had much better at the local pub.
The meals were ok. We had the Moroccan lamb and the chicken fajitas.
The salsa from the fajitas needs to come with a warning, it's quite spicy! My date struggled through one then left the other three to me. The flavour of the chicken was good, I enjoyed it the most.
The lamb was a surprising combination of dry yet tender. The flavour was quite good though.
The grand total of one dessert choice made us instead choose to go to the local gelato bar.
The location is quite nice, overlooking the pioneer river and the atmosphere was also quite nice. The live music was not overbearing like in a lot of other places and I found it enjoyable.
I've eaten here before and found the place to be excellent, it's a bit sad that it's fallen so far.
