Ming's Restaurant

The rice has literally NO FLAVOR. The vegetables in the rice were ONLY peas and a few onions. I ordered honey wings and fried rice and this rice look and tasted like regular brown rice in a “success box”. I literally had to put my own Salt on this rice. I’m so disappointed. This the 2nd Chinese food spot I’ve tried in Macon with horrible rice! The chicken was bland. I was better off cooking at home. Ugh!

The Shrimp Egg Foo Yung was pretty good & large! The food was fresh & I had fried rice with fresh vegetables. I was very impressed with their covid protocols in place at the drive-thru with a shield & the gentleman has on his mask. That is great and makes me more comfortable eating out. The more I try the different meals, they can easily go to 5 stars. I am at 4 1/2 stars because there was alot of food too.

The amount of food they give you is unbelievable! We will eat on this for days. The price is perfect. It was fresh and hot and FAST. They have a drive thru window as well. They put bean sprouts in their fried rice and that alone sold me. We ordered two entrees, an order of spring rolls even though our dinners came with egg rolls and a small side of steamed broccoli and omg, it was more broccoli than could have hoped for! Just look at the pictures!!! SOOOO MUCH FOOD. We paid less than $30! That’s wild.

So usually this restaurant would receive a 5 star rating however we were cheated out of money and food on 12/05/19!!!! I ordered over the phone with the lady who I believe owns the restaurant and she's very sweet as usual! When I arrived to pick up our order she read the order back and it was correct( receipt is correct) only to get home to realize the order was completely wrong!! So of course I call and they were already closed. I call this morning to explain that we paid for 2 dinner combos one with Sesame and Sweet and Sour Chicken and the other with General Tso Chicken.. The picture below is what we received!! We also paid to have egg in our rice which as you can see is missing. The owner tells me i should've brought the food back!! How is that possible when the restaurant was already closed when we realized what we had received was incorrect?? All that I requested was to be reimbursed for the food that we didn't receive and I was given 2 thousand excuses as to why that couldn't happen!! I've eaten at this restaurant for over 7 years but the way I was treated over their mistake has caused me to eat elsewhere!! Stop stealing from your customers!!
