The Red Elephant Chocolate Cafe

We used their Groupon to do a chocolate tasting and a little presentation on how chocolate is made. I've done a number of chocolate tours and programs in other cities, and still learned new things. Most importantly, the chocolate samples were amazing, and lots of them! I couldn't finish all of mine there, and they provided a container for me to take the rest of the chocolate home. We also got a discount for any additional products we purchased while there.

Poor service. My mother asked for a hot fudge sundae, the lady looked at her did not know it was on the menu even though it said it right above her head. Then she couldn't use the hot fugde machine. Ended up with just vanilla ice cream. Then she told us it was busy. There were 4 people working & 2 other people waiting. The worst part is they talked crap about my Mom right in ear shot of us. So so inappropriate.. Then they continued to give us looks while we were sitting & eating. Seriously we only said "forget the topping I will just have a cup of vanilla." Won't go back, that bad. Disappointed

I visited this place while on the way back from the large market that gathers around there. I dont quite remember the flavor of ice cream I got but it was purple and really good!! If you are into fruity flavors but you dont some of those artifically fruity flavored ice creams, then you will like this one. It has a very clean and plesant raspberry flavor.
