A great classic supper club, nothing too fancy but all around good. Old Fashioneds were tasty and strong how I like them. Every item of food was delicious, great curds and onion rings. Got a whole school of bluegill with one order a a walleye fillet that we think came from a 20lb lunker. Service got a lil slow towards then end of the night but our server was new and the place was behond packed so no biggie really.

They were out of the ribeye so I opted for the bone in tenderloin. It was good but not great. I really wanted the ribeye.

This place is wonderful. The food was delicious, the old fashioneds were to die for and our server Michael was very attentive. Would highly recommend 👌

Honestly, this supper club is a Madison treasure. The steak is fantastic (we usually get the filet mignon), you get a ton of food for the price, and everything is cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive, and we left vowing to go back in more often.

On 12/30/21 my family and 2 friends went to Esquire for dinner. Some ordered ribeye steak, 1 12oz and 2 16oz. dinners. The 16oz were cooked accordingly but we’re still tough and had no seasoning at all! The 12oz was also very bland! I ordered the jumbo fantail shrimp, I tell you they were in no way jumbo shrimp, about 7 medium broiled shrimp for $25! Our disappointment is that we have patronized this restaurant many times over the years and this is the second time the quality or the food has not been satisfactory. Our guest with us were disappointed, not the grade A restaurant they use to be but still higher prices.

After reading the reviews, I was expecting a great supper club experience. We were there on a Monday evening. Service was good, but the food was just okay. We'll give it another try next time passing through the area.

We love stopping in when we are in town. Love, love, love the fish fry, homemade soup and bread! Hoping to stop in some evening (had lunch this last time) and fingers crossed, Nick still works the bar!

Went on a Friday for the fish fry with my family. A few got the Atlantic Cod all you can eat. Came out great. Most of the pieces were hot.
One family member got an 8oz steak and lobster tail. Steak wasn't as great. I got the chopped steak. Didn't think it was the best either.
Even though it wasn't as busy (post COVID-19 opening), it still took quite awhile for us to get out food.
The wait staff were friendly and quick with condiments and drinks.
Overall, I would recommend going for the fish and seafood, not steak.
