The Boathouse Restaurant

Cheese curds appreterizer was so delicious 😋 worth it! They actually had 🍒 cherry coke which I am a big fan of! Being right next to the lake was so beautiful and peaceful! It wasn't a busy day. The weather was nice. The decor of the inside of the restaurant was nice and clean. Even the bathrooms were well kept. Our waitress and all the staff was friendly. 5 stars! We will be back!

Discovered the Boathouse recently and this has become my favorite summertime place to eat. Enjoy your meals with the awesome views of the lake. Sunset views are spectacular. Located in the Edgewater Hotel, you must visit The Boathouse for excellent food, service, and summer vibes. They have indoor and patio dining available. Strongly recommend patio dining to enjoy the beautiful views. I absolutely love the food, ambience, and friendly service of this place. Went in on a Sunday evening and chose to sit outside. Our server promptly arrived and took are apps and drinks order. We started with the calamari, truffle fries and pretzel bites. The apps were good and I loved the calamari. It was perfect. Need to try the cheese curds during my next visit. We also the Mahi Mahi fish tacos, Power Bowl, Chicken Salad croissant and Boathouse burger . The food was really good. I am giving 2 stars because the atmosphere was great and the cheese curds were very good. Everything else was very disappointing. The service was slow and our server was not attentive at all. It took almost 20 minutes just to get our drinks. I was brought a little 8 ounce cup of sprite full of ice and my wife got a very light pour of the house merlot. Then my server charged me twice for the sprite. To be fair the other tables got better service than we did. As I stated before the fried clock shadow cheese curds were good. The calamari was below average. The ahi poke bowl was terrible. It was more of a over cooked ahi tuna salad on a bed of al dente rice noodles. This chef has no clue about ahi poke. Another guest at the restaurant ordered the mahi tacos and said they were very good. Once again, to be fair to the restaurant others seemed to have a better experience than we did.

No handicap accessibility. $20.00 valet parking which is BS. Had to search for an elevator to go down 5 flights of stairs to reach the restaurant. Never instructed where to locate the elevator. Do not recommend this place if you have health issues. Will not go back again. No wheel chair accessibility. Sad that management does nothing to correct this issue.

Had a wonderful meal right on the lake seated outdoors on their patio. Kylie was a great server, cheese curds and Wisco Burger were delicious and the weather and view were unbeatable. Highly recommend! PS parking is way easier than I expected, the garage by the Edge Water is hidden from view but right there when you turn in to the hotel; a delightful surprise that made the visit that much more enjoyable.

Bougie bar food 😊 We sat on the deck at sunset and it made the wait for service worth it. The cheese curds we second only to Craftsman. My ahi tuna sandwich was delicious. I LOVE that they have na mixed drinks, the NA Beached Whale was refreshing and totally delicious. Note that you have to get your parking validated at the front desk, the Boathouse doesn't have the machine for some reason.
