HAIR IN FOOD Not eating here ever again. Worker was unfriendly and was getting frustrated that she had to explain various menu items to us when we were ordering. Their menu is not very descriptive and that was my first time there. After ordering I wanted my sub toasted, and asking them to do so while they were still making my sub was the end of the world to them. They were extremely rude and do not meet their customers needs. They did a half ass job making my and my boyfriends sandwiches. Half way into eating my sub, I found HAIR in my food. Clearly it was the same as the woman who made it, which I know was on purpose because they were mad we did not order fast enough and asked to have our food hot instead of cold. Do not trust this unsanitary and unfriendly business.

If you're looking to order delivery, don't even bother. The driver was 45 minutes late today, and I ordered two hours ahead of time! I even called 15 min after the expected delivery time and was told that he would be here "any second." I usually am patient and can understand if people are a little late, but 45 min late at 11:30 am on a Thursday is just ridiculous. Very poor service for nothing special.

Capriotti's has always been a favorite of mine. I discovered it in 2005 while living in Las Vegas. I have since been to the shop in Madison (west side) and most recently this location by the University. Unfortunately, our order took 40 mins instead of the estimated 20 (we even called ahead!) AND they forgot an entire sandwich. I was not really pleased with this location, for those reasons. It was also SUPER busy and there isn't anywhere to park that's convenient, especially just for a pick up order. Luckily, the manager was extremely helpful in refunding our missing sandwich.

I love these sandwiches, period, exclamation point! They may seem a little expensive, but they are well worth the price, because not only are they delicious, they're also huge! I recommend anything with slaw on it (mostly their signature subs). My fav is the Slaw-B-Joe, lotta beef and a lotta slaw. I was not a huge slaw fan... but that was BEFORE I tried Cappriotti's.
