This is a great restaurant to introduce someone to sushi, however, I would not recommend this restaurant to someone that enjoys exotic rolls, as there were only basic rolls to choose from.
We did the all you can eat for $30. All the food is up for grabs from the conveyor belt that passes by your table. It's two pieces per plate to help reduce waste. If you do end up wasting food, there is an additional charge.
The food kept coming, but I saw no one in the restaurant getting drink refills, which made me sad.
My favorite food on the conveyor belt was the sesame balls. They were filled with red bean paste and were WARM and fresh! Yummy.😊

This was one of the most amazing sushi experience I have ever had! The AYCE deal was definitely worth it for the various types of sushi rolls that were put out. There were appetizers and even desserts on the belt!!! I also enjoyed the nice atmosphere and the friendly staffs. They really made sure that we were satisfied and happy which is a plus for me. This restaurant will definitely be one of my favorite sushi spots to go to now. No complaints at all!

Very overpriced for such few options of sushi. I love sushi & we have traveled to a few different conveyor belt sushi restaurants on the east coast, this was by far the most expensive & the least flavorful. We were there for almost an hour & a half & not a single basic shrimp tempura roll came by. The texture of the rice was a bit off & sometimes hard & a couple pieces of the fish were really gray/brown or the avocado was really brown. Waitresses were extremely friendly & helpful & for that I gave 2 stars. The booth seats & the table were clearly not cleaned & that disturbed me for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. What disturbed me even more, was how filthy the women’s restroom was. We had came right at opening for dinner so it’s not like we came at a busy time & there wasn’t time to clean the place. All in all, a pretty disappointing experience that resulted in digestive pain & regret. Hoping this was just a really off day for this business rather than their usual service.

Wow, love the new hip vibe of this location. Very different after the remodel. Since it was our first time back we indulged in the new style all you can eat sushi conveyor. It was fun picking out what you want from the food passing by. There was a good assortment of apps, sushi, rolls, and desserts. Two peices per plate so you can try a variety of things without having to get stuck eating something you don't like. If you can't find something you are interested in, you can request it. Don't want the all you can eat, that's cool, just them know and they will seat you away from the convayor and provide you with the regular menu to order from. Looking forward to heading back. I missed this location while they were closed for remodeling.

We came right at 1pm on a Sunday as they turned on the revolving sushi belt. The hostess did not explain to us the all you can eat option so we had to just figure it out. It took a good half an hour for things to start coming on and a bit more time for a variety of rolls to revolve around. It is all you can eat but limited to what is on the belt. The variety and selection available was a bit disappointing, as there were maybe 3 types of sushi and 4 or 5 different rolls as well as a few salads and appetizers. We stayed for almost 1.5 hours and it felt like there weren't anymore new items being added. Given how communal the set up is, it would have been nice if the hosts and hostesses took times to explain revolving sushi etiquette to guests. I saw people reaching across lanes and lifting lids (of things they end up not taking).
Overall, it is a very exciting and interesting concept. The experience was fun but in the future I would rather order off the menu. If you only like 1-2 different kind of rolls then the all you can eat option is good.

The rolls & nigiri were pretty good, but our server was not. We went in with a group of 4 and 3 of us wanted all-you-can-eat. They set the table with 2 sets of napkins & chopsticks and the server told me I had to wait until my mother ordered something off the menu before he would bring us the other 2 sets and an extra soy sauce dish. So while the rest of our group got started, I sat there while he hovered over my mother as she decided (this was right after we sat down). Did not give us the option to take our time or offer to come back, he was very short and clearly wanted us in and out. With a little push back, he brought us 3 extra sets of napkins & chopsticks, which wasn’t necessary.
Eventually, the food started coming out onto the conveyor belt uncovered (plates come out covered with a clear lid). We thought this was strange, as we’re in the middle of the Omicron phase of the pandemic and guests’ faces are about 6 inches from the uncovered food. I was surprised to look back into the kitchen and see the “lid guy” sitting down with his face in his phone as the uncovered food passed by him.
Takara, you were much better before the renovation. This used to be my favorite place in town and now it’s kind of a disappointment. Please consider weeding out your staff or doing some proper food business training. We probably won’t be back :(

While not the pay by the plate conveyor belt sushi I’m more familiar with, the experience and taste of every item from the edamame to the rolls and the mochi were all very good. A bit on the expensive side but I feel was with it since it’s all you can eat and the experience will always be something to enjoy for first-timers.

Clearly the have someone adding false reviews with staged photos. Love the hilarious review with all the photos of a full conveyor belt and an empty restaurant! Not accurate at all! Here’s my honest review. Great concept, but the execution needs help. With the layout be sure to sit on the right side of the restaurant or you'll have an empty conveyor belt sporadically delivering the leftovers filler rolls no one else wanted. You are better off ordering off the menu and not getting the conveyor belt. We were so disappointed. Will not be back.
