Joe Mo's Baba Barbeque

We have been hearing good things for a while so we finally decided to try them out. Friendly service, good prices, and flavorful meats. We ordered the smoked wings, ribs, and pulled pork. I would definitely return for the ribs and the wings! The sides were okay. The potato salad had way too much mayo and the coleslaw didn’t have enough mayo. My husband liked the beans but I wasn’t a fan. Maybe I’m just too picky. The pulled pork was a bit too oily for me, but had great flavor. If you put the pork on the bread that it comes with and top it with slaw it cuts the oil. It was a bit heavy for me and bothered my stomach. The sauce was great and paired well with all three meats.

First off, I've never heard of this place before. Never even knew it was there. Its a shame really, the smoked turkey we got for our Thanksgiving dinner was by far the best turkey we have ever had. To be able to get a turkey smoke perfectly is a true art. You can tell that a whole lot of care was put into the meat throughout the process. After having that, we will be back. The service was amazing and they were all super friendly and helpful. I haven't had anything else from here yet, but I will be back to try more. Believe that. If you haven't been here, make it a top priority for your next lunch or dinner with the family! You won't be disappointed!

1st time here, and they are open for drive up/walk up orders during COVID-19. Place was highly recommended by coworkers and definitely did not disappoint. Walking up to the restaurant and all you smell is the huge grill smoking in the back of the establishment... just adds to the anticipation of what you're in for! Ordering was pretty straight forward, although i think they may have a reduced menu at tje moment given current "Rona" conditions. Prices were reasonable, food was really good! But what actually locked me in and required a review was the customer service. Good customer service is expected, but not always achieved... After collecting my order, the woman working the window called out for me to come back, she said "my dad isn't happy with the smoked sausage, he wants to give you a bigger one..." Call it southern hospitality, great customer service, or just having pride in your craft... That is what will make me return here for dinner or lunch everytime I have an overnight in Huntsville.

Absolutely delicious. Very friendly people; seems to be a family operation. The food is full of flavor, the meat is juicy, and the portions are generous. I am really surprised by some comments I've read about the "bland" mac and cheese; it's actually a personal favorite of ours. We have a bad habit of buying it by the pan to have at home! It's just too good! I don't find it bland at all. It is quite greasy/oily, but hey, it's not health food after all. 5 stars!
