Mint Juleps Kitchen

We came here for a private party. Superb food, service and atmosphere. Dining area is in a single room with a bar located in the rear. The ceiling was warehouse high and the walls were a nice mix of materials with artwork. Salmon and pork chop were excellent. Wine was a little high, but the rest of the alcoholic drinks were reasonable. Definitely a top choice for a special dinner out. The restaurant is located just off the square in downtown Madison and we had no problem finding parking within a block or two.

We enjoyed dining al fresco on a Sunday afternoon from the Kitchen's lunch menu so much, we returned within the week to have dinner! The chef-inspired menu contains delectable dishes like shrimp 'n grits, rack of lamb, to-die-for French onion soup, and of course - Mint Juleps! The vibe is casual and comfortable, but there's nothing casual about the service from their attentive wait staff and dedicated management. Don't miss this newest eatery in Madison, GA!

Fabulous place. It was a little tricky to find, but well worth the effort. Immediately upon entering I was very impressed with the atmosphere and friendly staff. Such a neat looking place. Such attention to detail. Very sturdy silverware, nice napkins. Cool tables and chairs. The live plants really add an air of sophistication. The lunch was delicious, and I stayed to chat with my mom for quite some time. We had tuna and chicken salad sandwiches, fruit and soup - all very good. Coffee was delicious! Will definitely be back - highly recommended.

Went into the Mint for the first time last night. Love Love Love the building and what was done to get it up and going. I remember watching the building being worked on from the outside. The atmosphere of the building is rustic. There is a nice bar if ya wanna just sit and chill there or if your with a date or some friends and wanna sit at a table there are a few different ones to choose from, some with cushions and some without. For the ultimate chill though you can sit in the back corner where there are a few couches to just hang and enjoy some drinks. The food was good. Girlfriend had the duck and it looked amazing... the blackberry sauce that accompanied it was delicious. The shrimp and grits were very tasty and flavorful! If you’re gluten free there are several entree options as well as a vegan option of pasta and veggies. If you’re not gluten free bread is provided which we saw from afar and it looked good, can’t speak for the taste or the texture of it since... gluten-free. :-)

A great dining experience! I'm a fan of 'Flo's Filet' at Longhorns, but I believe my steak at Mint Juleps topped it!... even the green beans were cooked perfectly. Others in our party had the steak and mushroom soup (which I tasted and can say DELICIOUS!) and the shrimp and grits, which were also very good. My favorite soup is their tomato basil. If I could afford to eat there every night, I would! Our server was also exceptional!
