C & D Bistro

My wife and I arrived at the bistro at 8:30. The server handed us two menus and told us to grab a table. She showed up a couple of minutes later and we ordered two beers. We then sat at our table waiting to order our food for twenty five minutes, until five minutes til nine. Our server walked by us half a dozen times. For the last fifteen minutes of our stay there was a total of one other table and four people at the bar. We finally got up and left as we assumed the kitchen was closed by this time. We left our beers half finished on the table. We did want to eat but that was not to be this evening. It was disappointing as we only have one day off and we wanted to enjoy a bite out. By the time we left everything else was closed. Oh well. So much for eating out on our one night off. Maybe we should try again? I don't know. It was strange. We felt completely ignored.

I've got chicken wings from there two times this week! I had to have them the second time tonight to make sure it wasn't a fluke! These are THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS I'VE EVER HAD! The beer is cold and reasonably priced and we met some cool people including the staff when visited for just beers a few weeks back. We will be back for the comedy show this week! So glad Madison has this place now that I have found it!

My wife and I showed up at 8:30 p.m. we got our beers but then were ignore for half an hour. Five minutes before closing, we finally walked out. This is one of a few restaurants in town unfortunately. They need more support staff or something. We were ignored while the server hung put at athe bar. Not going back here which is unfortunate.
