2nd visit here, albeit a few years apart, the last time I visited was just after lockdown (I live in England)
The staff are great, very attentive and friendly
The food is awesome, I really enjoyed it last time, hence my visit tonight. I wasn’t disappointed and, after a recommendation, I know what I’ll be having the next time I visit

Myself and my fiancé went here for a lovely dinner last night, we dine out in Indian restaurants a lot in Belfast and came up to magherafelt for a visit. Lovely decor and ambience in the restaurant. Staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was absolutely superb. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and my fiancé ordered the monkfish balti. The garlic and coriander naan was to die for!! Will definitely be back when we are back in Magherafelt!!

The Taaj is a must eat at restaurant. The decor and art is lovely and the food is great. The staff are friendly and when you enter you can already smell the spices. The atmosphere is fantastic but the seats are not the most comfortable but its not going to affect my rating.

brilliant, i have a loss for words. absolutely brilliant, after being bullied by the tesco owner, two schools and a rabid child, its a great place to sit back and have a good meal.

I've never had a bad meal from the Taaj, beautiful authentic Indian food, staff are always fast and efficient and friendly. I'm not a big drinker but a lot of friends love their cocktails too
