Nepal Dining Room

Lovely Nepalese restaurant. Quite an exhaustive menu and lively atmosphere. The food was good - momos, chicken chow chow, goat tarkari, roti, raisin pulao, grilled lamb and grilled chicken. The momos were seasoned well and the sauce with it was spicy! The goat tarkari was cooked well but lacked enough salt. The grilled items were average and the pulao was good. Overall a good experience.

Went there with a couple of my non Nepali friends and had a lovely time today. The waitress was very attentive and kind. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely too. The food here is great but being a Nepali I feel that some dishes were missing the authentic and traditional flavours. Although I feel that the momos could’ve been more flavourful, I thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. Would recommend trying Chicken Sekuwa and Goat curry, they were the highlight of my evening. Thank you team for your hospitality today.

I have been here couple of times now and both times the service were very good and food is also great. One of the best Nepali food in Melbourne. They are a bit more fancier than the usual Nepali places but worth it. Highly recommend the Platter for taste testing to see what you like and order more if those . The eggplant Pumpkin Tharkari was really yummy too. Very accommodating too with BYO etc😃

Don't come here and don't get fooled by the reviews. This place is terrible, the veggies in the noodles were not cooked at all. When we raised the issue, the owner was rude and told us they are stir fried and that's how it's prepared. Save your money and terrible experience, there are tons of better Nepalese restaurants with much better food and gold standard in service. This place sucks!!!!
