Malaysian style restaurant in this little strip away from the hustle and bustle of Koornang Road. Most of the dishes are average tasting, service is slow although very friendly. The black pepper beef was soft but lacking outstanding sauce to complement the dish. Food - 6 Servive - 5 Vibe - 5 Price - $$$

Disappointed! Visited the place after reading decent reviews of this place not sure what has changed since. We were the only family at the place dining in then, out of 3 dishes ordered only 2 came in and staff apparently forgot to cook the other! Satay was deep fried!! Never really seen satays deep fried anywhere, wonton soup was average and beef fried never was made (in the hindsight thankful after seeing the satay and wonton soup). Requested chillies for wonton soup and what we got was frozen chillies ! Like seriously ??

Not your authentic Malaysian restaurant BUT still well-cooked with nice flavours. You don’t go home feeling bloated as the food are “cleanly” cooked (i.e not too oily or greasy or heavy on salt / MSG). Definitely don’t feel thirsty afterwards. We ordered; Beef Rendang Seems like the paste is not made from scratch but rather from a packet. It’s too watery unlike authentic rendang you find at other places which is dry and full of nice spices. BUT like I said, despite the mediocre rendang paste, the beef is still well cooked and I would say the portion Is generous. Mee Goreng I also expected this to be drier than it is but tasty and well-cooked. Mixed Vegetable in Claypot We need some greens / try to have greens on every meal. There was a nice variety of vegetables on this dish which exceeded my expectations and is nicely cooked too.

We found this place by accident and loved it! I really missed Malaysian food. They've been doing takeaway throughout the lockdown and it's delicious every time. I recommend the Beef Rendang, Malaysian Chicken Curry and the Roti Cenai. Looking forward to working through the menu. Plus, the service is great! They're lovely there.
