Great food, and the prices of the food are pretty good for a city centre, and for the nice quality. The service was very slow though. Took 20 minutes before we ckuld order a drink and took another 20 minutes to find someone to ask to pay. They seemed to be understaffed. Great food, just a slow service. Also be aware there is a mandatory 12% service charge to your bill.

AMAZING."The feast" option on the menu was great, it had a bit of everything and was more than enough to stuff you silly, the price was very reasonable. The service was excellent. I couldn't finish mine and they happily provided a container to take it home with me. From when I last posted the above prices do seem to have soared and the wet napkins that are really necessary when eating ribs and wings are no longer available. The music was too loud so I had to talk loudly to be heard by the other people at the table and I left with a headache, which is why they have lost a star on my original review. The food was still good and boxes are still available for those tasty leftovers. Certainly still worth a visit.

Thank you, James Douglas, for honouring my gift card which has expired during lock down. I treated myself to Swine fries followed by brisket and waffles as a desert. Food presentation was spectacular and the meat an absolute poetry. Nearly got a little emotional over this amazing work of art made in your kitchen here in Manchester. I'd give you even 6 stars if I could. Send my best regards to your professional staff on St Peter's Square!

Arrived here without booking ahead and was able to get a seat with no issue. The staff are very attentive and helpful with suggestions and explaining the menu. It was an interesting experience watching the kitchen at work and dealing with the many orders. My meal was great! I tried the fried pickles and was blown away by these. My burger was lovely too. Will be back for sure.

Been here a few times, maybe it was just my bad luck, but the few times I did go there were some problems. The first time they had run out of brisket, which isn't the end of the world, but the second time there was a long wait even after booking a table and the table we got was right in front of the main entrance door in the middle of winter. We had to sit with our coats still on while we waited to be served and ate. Again, there were things we tried to order that had run out, no sausage for hotdogs, none of the first drink we tried to order, 3 of us ordered the ice tea (which is amazing) and the other ordered a cola, but wasn't told it would be a diet cola (maybe it says on the drinks menu that the cola is diet, but we weren't given any drinks menus). All that aside though, the food is actually very good and they were very busy that night, but I would suggest they don't bother using that table right by the main entrance in the colder months.

We love Red's true! Never had a bad experience here in the nearly five years we've been coming. Tonight was great. I brought my dad and step mum up from London to experience the best bbq in town. It was incredibly busy but service was still high. We were told they were a little behind schedule but would do everything they could to speed things along. We got sat down about 15mins after our original bookings but we had drinks from the bar so were content. We then were served not too long after by our waiter who went above and beyond to keep us happy and even brought a milkshake on the house for us. The T bones that my parents had were fantastic and they said it was the best they had, even better than in London. Mine and my other halfs burgers were spot on. Thanks for a great night guys and well done to your Christmas Saturday team, they smashed it!
