The Pasta Project

I've never actually eaten here, or from here, other than to buy Coffee and to sit outside. I thought the prices looked a little too high but not overly. The portion sizes look a healthy size, as in 'what you're supposed to eat to maintain a healthy diet/weight', so if you like huge portions where you end up with too much, this isn't the place for you. The Pasta Project is very clean and is quite artisan for the area. Harpurhey really does need more places like this to lift the area. I've only missed a star off my rating as I've not actually eaten from here but from what I've seen, the food does look good and it seems fairly popular.

Wildly exceeded my expectations. Fresh pasta rolled every day and cooked in front of you. Not hidden behind high counters, not a microwave in sight. Anyone who’s ordering deliveries thinking it’s microwaved, I highly recommend going in to collect. Reasonably cheap price, very high quality, genuinely impressed.

The food was delicious and quick to come out. The spagetti tasted like fresh pasta and the flavour although subtle was great. I got the Aglio & Oglio (£6) in a medium which was a smaller portion than I expected but still satisfying. I'll definately come again. They are quite strict on mask wearing as they refused to serve at the counter without a mask being work even after the young man said he had asthma and so didn't have to wear a mask. So if you want to done hear and are exempt from mask wearing you may want to come with a document reflecting this (though I know legally you don't actually have to do this)

Great place to stop for a nice plate (box really) of pasta or pizza, easy to get to - one can eat there or take away. There is a good variety of pasta & sauces, pizzas, excellent coffee, drinks and puddings. Very clean and airy. Good place for children, parking available in the shopping centre. Nice and welcoming staff.
