Slug & Lettuce Albert Square

Myself and my other half both visited this Cocktail Bar this morning (24/4/24). Needless to say the food was great! I wasn't a huge fan of the mushy peas as a side on the chips, but other than that it was crisp and tasty for a chain! Our service was immaculate, we were served by a lovely lady who told us her name was Imogen. She was police, extremely accommodating to my wife's gluten intolerance and took every effort to make sure our food was good and our drinks were served in a timely manner. Because of this experience with the exceptional service, myself and my wife fully enjoyed our weekend trip to Manchester, Imogen was the cherry on top!

Visited at Christmas, I’ve come back to leave a review after visiting two other bottomless brunches since and realising just how good it was here! The food, drinks and service were all fab, you get your money’s worth, with a great atmosphere! The place was busy and we still got brilliant service no one was left waiting, glasses were always full, the food is tasty and a great portion, a great experience all round.

My partner and I visited whilst in Manchester. We went for lunch. They had a mid week deal on and we both went for the burger. The burger was amazing for the price. The service was excellent and friendly. It wasn’t mad busy but it was a Thursday afternoon! We will definitely return when in Town again and the cocktails looked fab, so I’ll try those next time. I didn’t get a photo but annoyed with myself for that. The burger wasn’t on the plate long enough! Would recommend. Great location too especially when the Town Hall refurbishment has been completed.
