Benito Lounge

Whenever I come back home (to Manchester), I always try to visit here for breakfast. The full breakfast and also the triple stack pancakes are my favourite! I just love the ease of ordering off your phone and you'll be so pleased with how quick after you've ordered the drinks and food arrives. Great place for families of young children too!

Its our first visit, we ordered: Lounge breakfast: It came with bacon 🥓, grilled tomato 🍅, baked beans, hash browns, mushrooms, toast, sunny-side-up eggs 🍳, and sausages. The bacon 🥓 wasn't too crispy, but everything else was quite normal, and the sunny-side-up eggs 🍳 were perfectly fried 😻. Bang bang chicken: Turned out to be chicken chunks coated in a peanut sauce, served with stir-fried noodles and vegetables. It had a bit of a fusion twist and was surprisingly tasty 👍😀. Cappuccino and Cafe latte: Both were creamy and gave us a nice caffeine boost 👍. Overall, the restaurant had a comfortable atmosphere 👍, and the food was delicious 😋. My boyfriend has recently moved to Chorlton so we have been to Benito Lounge a couple of times, once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times we were really impressed by the quality of food for the price and the service was really quick. It has a really good vibe and friendly staff. I think this will be a regular place for us. This is an outstanding place. I love spending hours here just reading my book and having a mean cappuccino. The location is perfect, the interior is eclectic and vintage chic, and their food is never disappointing. The price range is not on the high side, but not cheap either. You have a good choice of tables, and if it's sunny and warm there's also seating outside. Benito is the perfect spot to hang around while you wait for friends or family, or just to bring a date for a meal of the day or drinks, cocktails too. If you're stopping by Chorlton, then visit the Benito. The beverages alone are miles better (and cheaper) than the rubbish they sell on the nearby Costa, proper coffees and cappuccino's. And this is coming from a Portuguese, so I know.
