The Spoon Inn

A day later and i’m still thinking about the meal i had. we had low expectations, we don’t drink and this seemed like a primarily drinking venue. How wrong we were - good god. i am a master of brunch and out of the easy fifty brunch meals i have had go with the flo and a side of brisket is easily the most scrumptious moreish delicious plate of food i’ve had. perfect poached eggs, umami sauce, crispy wonderful kale. gonna cry thinking about it. there are no pictures, i inhaled that food, demolished it.

Lovely little café populated by work meetings and apple laptops. The welcoming, chilled coffee stop, offers food (brunch and light plates), a bar and a friendly service. The coffee came with whipped cream which was a bit unique (and sweetens the coffee) and the food is plentiful (maybe a tad overcooked) yet the atmosphere is perfect to sit and spend time in. A lovely work cafe offering a smile.
