The Hidden Gem Coffee Shop

Lovely spot in Heaton Park amongst the garden centre with a lovely gift shop on site, both of which you walk through on the way in to the Cafe. Prices and portions are very reasonable; dogs are only allowed outdoors where there are tables and chairs or in the greenhouse which can be a little cold and draughty in the winter but acceptable. Waiting times can be long when busy with queues at the till stretching thru the cafe, but worth the wait if happy to relax especially if on a sunny day. This place certainly lives up to its name !

Have visited regularly. The staff are always friendly and polite. The cafe is clean and the food is very nice and reasonably priced. There's usually a queue for food, but that's a good thing as I would be more concerned if people weren't using it. It's nice in the Summer as you can sit outside to eat.

Lovely place in Heaton Park to go for a coffee. We had a toasted tea cake, cheese on toast, scone, and shortbread between us, too. The cost was very reasonable. There is plenty of seating outdoors and under cover. Food was brought out to us. The staff were friendly, lovely atmosphere. The customer toilet was very basic, but clean. Parking is very close by but not feee. We bought some of the gift trinkets and plants that were for sale.
