Five Guys

This has become my new go to place. Usually I go for hot dogs which are great. They split them and grill. Lots of good stuff to put on them. Had a burger today and it was one of the best burgers I've had. Juicy and fresh. I didn't realize that the burger was actually a double. If you want a single get the small burger.

Ordered online for curbside pickup with specified pickup time. Alerted through their link from the text they sent that I was "on my way". Used same app to say I was there. Waited 10 minutes with no movement from the store and called. Staff member answered and when I said I was there for curbside pickup, I was informed "we don't do that" and hung up on. As I was walking in the door, there was a sign on the door stating "takeout, curbside, delivery options available". Walked up to counter and asked for name, told them and it was yelled back to staff, where they began to prepare our order (the entire order). Asked to speak with manager after food delivered and when I commented about curbside pickup he said "we don't do that" when I pointed out it said it on the sign coming in he denied that (I have a picture to prove it). Staff having more fun laughing with a "regular" who was leaning over glass barriers near the food. All around bad experience, doubt I'll ever go back.

Food is made decently well. Surprised when a quarter of the employees are high. The guy on fries was sharp thank you for giving me good service wish I caught your name. Dark skinned guy taking orders couldn't remember to give two people in a row their cup along with remembering what size it was. Come on. Nov 14 7.30p

I stopped in for lunch and wasn't impressed. for $15 i would expect a decent burger and fries... the 1st order was made wrong, so i brought it back to the lady who made a new one, i wasn't upset it was wrong at first bc mistakes happen. but make sure the 2nd one is right... they made it so quickly my grilled items weren't grilled and my cheese was thrown on there still cold and was missing one of the items and my fries weren't all cooked... wouldn't bother going back... (on a plus side they were properly cleaning and preventing COVID exposure)
