It's hard to describe... you just have to try it! But don't order a large unless you're REALLY hungry!

Delicious ice cream. Soft and hard serve. Plenty of flavors to choose from (especially in hard serve). Walk up window and drive-thru window. Friendly staff. Only issue I have is the same issue I have with a lot of ice cream places, it's cash only.

I would have given 5 stars because they have excellent ice cream, but they never changed their schedule online to coincide with their hours in the window for this winter. Disappointed 😞.

The ice cream is great, and there are plenty of CLEAN (!) picnic tables to sit at, far enough apart from one another that you don't have to concern yourself about spreading the virus. I just wish they had more non-chocolate flavors available -- peach, ginger, coconut, which is why only four stars.

In the summer of 2019 my wife and I went on an extensive road trip traveling through Maine and New Brunswick. On our way heading north we stopped in Augusta and liked it so much that we also stopped there on our way back to Portland. During our second visit we happen to pass this ice cream store that had a parking lot so packed you couldn’t get into it and a huge long line waiting for service. Of course we stopped here and the reason for the long line was quickly apparent. People in Maine are friendly and while waiting in line we heard all about how excellent the ice cream was. We were not disappointed! The state of Maine is loaded with excellent ice cream stands. This is one of the best!

Pumpkin Ice cream in July.. Heck yes! It was the greatest tasting ice cream that I have ever had.. & the line was moving very quickly. Both drive thru and standing in line. Portion size was out of this world. I'd rather travel here, than go to any other any other ice cream shop closest to my house.
