To me the NHS is vital and Manchester Royal Infirmary is one of the best.. The staff are all Amazing and the facilities are great. Once again though, I must mention the parking fees... You now get less " free time " before the charges kick in and anything over the " free time " now costs £3... There is NO Charge at Trafford General... This is where I choose to go for my regular checkups and blood tests. I wouldn't mind so much if the proceeds actually went to the Hospital, and NOT to a private company who just happen to own the land after purchasing it many years ago for a very reasonable price.

It's was a bit of a waiting in queue. Once you give your name or details to the nurse, you get into another line to be assessed . Then send to your right department. There you give your details again and sit until your name is called to be seen. In about 30 minutes you're on your way home. THANKS YOU for looking after us.. Ps .photos not allowed 🚫

This is a HUGE hospital with many buildings, floors within buildings and entrances. If you're visiting for the first time, the advice is to allow at least 30 to 40 minutes for parking and to get your bearings. The place can be a bit overwhelming but there are lots of staff happy to help signpost you to where you need to be. There are multiple car parks and drop off points but wait time is heavily policed, and many roads have double "red" lines.

I came to Manchester Royal Infirmary to deliver some items and on my way to the department I had a severe heart attack. Then people who had no emergency training called for an ambulance and gave me the necessary help over the phone until the ambulance arrived. I was then taken to the ACC where I received gentle and attentive care and had at least 5 people by my side all the way until a Stent was installed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to this medical staff at ACC and I'm sorry I can't name everyone because English is not my first language and it's hard for me to remember people's names. The NHS is the best, many thanks to the staff at ACC.

Went in for a triple heart bypass. The staff were really caring and very helpful. They always had time for you and the care was second to non. The Consultants were approachable too, several came and spoke to you on their daily rounds and explained the procedure. The staff put me at my ease and the operation was a success. The after care was really good too.

Children's A&E was super duper difficult to find, we had to ask strangers for directions. We were told to go to a specific place and we declined access as I was told I was too young but the 111 lady said that I was supposed to go there. Then we had to walk to A&E. Also, parking was tough, my mother got a parking ticket as she ran a red light accidentally as she was looking for parking. The waiting room for A&E was so nice, quiet. A lovely atmosphere! Staff were nice and understanding. We did have to wait for around 2 hours, and when we saw the doctor, we didn't even sit down. I think the waiting time was unnecessary for just getting talked to, but I get hospitals are busy! Lovely hospital, I do recommend going here! I ask for the parking spaces and places to be a little more clearer to find though?

Super clean and omg very quick no wait time at all, just straight in. I went the first day of the junior doctors strike for 35%pay rise, which is what they deserve 100%. Super nice staff and amazingly clean. Free parking for blue badge holders. They have security patrolling the car park so be careful parking !
