Nice to find a nice neighbourhood pub with a bit of character where I can watch the sport with my dog. Good food and great service from the young lady and gent behind the bar.
Noted the pool table and beer garden, will be sure to explore further over the next few weeks! One drawback was no sound for the football (at least where I was), but understandable for a Sunday early kickoff. Not many West Ham fans around evidently! Obvs sound went on for Manchester derby after.

Nice photo pub, and a nice section of Town. Just above Kensington Gardens, it is one of the most reasonably priced pubs in the area. However, they don’t serve food very late.

Not a bad little place. Booked last minute due to train cancellations and location was spot on for what I needed. Was greeted by friendly staff who explained things in detail to me and made me feel safe which for a solo girl traveller is important. Bed was comfy and the room was warm. You get what you pay for. Somewhere I would stay again and visit for a few drinks next time I'm in Manchester
