Great establishment, a wide range of freshly cooked foods from all backgrounds with 30+ kitchens onsite. Anything from a vegan coffee and breakfast bagel to burger stacks, traditional biryani or Chinese Crepe. I've not had the pleasure of trying them all "yet" but they have not fallen short with the many I have tried. With the recent addition of their restaurant/outdoor seating area it means you can now enjoy the delicious dishes without rushing home. Clean, tidy, friendly staff, onsite parking, disabled access, eat in, take away and delivery! Definitely recommended.

We have been running a takeaway from Ghost kitchens since January. It is a very professionally set up kitchen space, which makes setting up your own kitchen very easy and hassle free. Also the management is always available and ready to help, which is really appreciated. Overall this place is highly recommend to anyone wishing to start their own takeaway or food business, in the most comfortable environment. Once again thanks to the whole team behind this venture.

I have now been operating from Ghost X Kitchen for two months, and this is my review. Hopefully, it can be helpful in your decision making. Before moving to Ghost X, I operated for 12 months from Jacuna Manchester. Therefore I will compare my experience in both places. Cost - the current unit I'm operating at Ghost X is twice the size of my kitchen at Jacuna However, my monthly costs are lower than what I was paying at Jacuna. If I wanted a similar unit at Jacuna, I would probably have to spend £2k more! Defoe Ghost X based on size/rent ratio. Jacuna units are grossly overpriced for the size. Deposit: The deposit with Ghost X is relatively low compared to what I was asked to pay Jacuna. I was asked to pay x times rent in advance + x times rent deposit. Therefore your start-up costs will be at least half if not less of the start-up cost with Jacuna. Also, good luck with getting your deposit back from Jacuna without any problems. I completed the full 12 months with them, but now I will have to use the courts to get my deposit back. Most of the people I know who had the same experience with Jaciuna are struggling to get the deposit back. Support - on my first week at Ghost X, I was introduced to Deliveroo & Ubereats accounts managers that support businesses trading from Ghost X. Trust me, this is invaluable access. As part of the Jacuna sales pitch we were promised a similar help with the platforms. I have never been introduced to any account manager that I could deal with on 121 bases by Jacuna or got any support with the platforms. Suitability - all units at Ghost X are based on the ground floor with easy access for delivery or to bring your equipment, etc. My unit at Jacuna was on the first floor. Based on my experience, I will never accept renting any kitchen where you have to climb the stairs. Firstly, getting the equipment up was one hell of a struggle, but getting your supplies by stairs every day was just backbreaking. Thinking back, the units on the first floor should be cheaper than the ones on the ground floor. Access - it is easier to get to Ghost X, and the delivery drivers share the same opinion. Consider this for your operational purposes. Unit sizes - Ghost X has three different unit sizes that fit all requirements. That is a far better proposition than just one size units available at Jacuna + overall they are cheaper than Jacuna units. Based on my personal experience and people I know, I highly recommend Ghost X. I will say again, stay away from Jacuna if you can! Marcio
