Seared Steak & Seafood

Ordered Scallop entree - 4 out of 5 were very undercooked. Rib eye Steak was ordered medium Rare, with vegetables. Steak arrived with salad and was seriously over-cooked. Waitress offered to replace main with vegetables. They were delivered so undercooked it wasn't possible to eat Also ordered Prawn addition to main course. Miniscule baby shrimp in custard-like sludge. Overall very disappointed experience. Wouldn't recommend

The soft drinks we ordered weren't cold, we were just given two glasses with ice. Every single item in the fisherman's basket was so thickly and heavily battered; there was no seafood in comparison. The soft shell crab burger was a literal full crab deep fried and wedged between two burnt buns with a drop of spicy mayonnaise and a sliver of coleslaw. I replaced the crab with a beef patty (as I had assumed it was crab meat and not pincers and all); however, the patty didn't even taste like meat, just an overwhelming taste of parsley. Very disappointing overall and off putting. I will say that the waitress was very friendly and polite.

Ordered the Scallop starter and they were very overcooked to the point of being rubbery and drenched in so much butter that it was spilling on to the plate? On to The mains I ordered the Lamb cutlets whereas my partner ordered the porterhouse steak with beef and reef topping. Not sure if I should've specified when ordering but, my cutlets were very overcooked, the dish was served with beans, cherry tomatoes on a bed of mash with creamy bbq sauce... Sounded impressive. Unfortunately not so, There was a total of 3 beans or more so 2 and a half as 1 was tiny... and 4 halves of cherry tomatoes... All to which were over cooked as they were served charred and significantly shrivelled in size, there was a generous serving of mash potato which I couldn't fault on its own but when paired with the creamy bbq sauce became rather sickly in taste. My partners meal, the prawns were not shelled at all including leaving the intestines in? The steak he asked for medium rare/rare was well done and while he did have a generous serving of vegetables unlike myself, they seemed of the consistency of frozen vegetables you can buy in the supermarket? There wasn't much complaint about the mushroom sauce but it was nothing to write home about either and once again they had for some reason drizzled butter over the entire dish so it sat in puddles on the plate? So all in all, we won't be returning it was both of our 1st time attending the restaurant and had somewhat anticipated it offering both steak and seafood... But were sorely dissapointed. It was busy but really that shouldn't excuse the standard they deliver... Originally, after being served the Scallop starter and that being so over cooked etc we were going to pay for what we had ate and drank and leave but upon telling the waitress she informed us our meal was already cooked (it wasn't it took at least another 10 minutes, she obviously just didn't want us to leave) have learned for next time though, we won't be returning.
