I tried the battered fish burger. The fish itself was a bit bland, I would have preferred it to be battered in a tad bit of salt and pepper. Nonetheless, the burger was good. Not great, but good.
The chips were flavourful, hot with a crisp which was good.

Not just a standard fish n chip shop, good fish and chips, some really different styles and flavours and good variety of combos. Burgers delish and massive and a meal without anything else. Great chips. Batter on the fried fish and the calamari rings is very thick tho, will try grilled fish next time. Skip the rings. Good service though check pricing as recently updated prices but wasn't reflected on their website. Use liven to pay.

I ordered the bay pack for the second time. And it’s always taste so nice. Best fish and chips in Melbourne. I tried so many places but this place is heaven for fish and chips. They don’t use ready made battered fish. They prepare fresh. Thanks for the nice food.

Best Customer service I’ve had in a while, they had already closed by 20 minutes but they served me anyway. The best battered flakes I’ve had, crunchy and holds together. Best chips I’ve had and the salt n pepper calamari was delicious too!! You can’t go wrong with Fugu Fish :) 👍🤤❤️

Fish and chips heaven to be found at Fugu. Whether it's fried or grilled fish, they've got you covered. Fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection. Absolutely love the fried whitebait, calamari and sweet potato chips too - crispy and enveloped in the most yummy and well-seasoned batter. Don't leave without trying the milkshake, definitely one that will be loved by everyone ❤️

Firstly, not the best photo I gotta admit but doesn't mean the food wasn't fresh and yum!
I had the Wagyu Burger and my friend had the Veggie.
The Wagyu Burger was delicious. The salad and ingredients used tasted crisp and fresh. The patty was moist and had good flavour (seasoned well).
My friend loved the eggplant in the veggie burger and praised it overall as she is a regular eater of veggie burgers.
As with all burgers the side of chips is crucial and we both found the chips to be crispy and tasty without being overly salty.
Will come back for another burger!

Owner contacted me after my previous review to offer a complimentary meal. Ordered by phone and call was answered first time. Ordered a soft shell crab burger and picked up in 7 minutes. Lots of crispy seasoned chips came with the burger. Soft shell crab was crispy with a mayo like sauce. Business commitment to improvement from customer feedback is exemplary.
