Snowville Shavery

I was very excited to come here when I saw that a new dessert shop was opening. We came for the macaroons and a bubble tea and the owner was kind enough to let us try the shaved ice. Their service was excellent. The shaved ice is really good! I've had shaved ice before and never had anything as creamy as this. (Trust me, I'm a dessert connoisseur.) The texture is more like ice cream than ice and pairs well with the fruit bubbles. We were told that all of their desserts are all natural- which was an added plus for me! Also, I appreciate their hours. They are open late enough for some after-dinner treats and even have a nice lounge area to relax in with a cool atmosphere.

This place is pretty cool. They have many different flavors of bubble tea but in addition they have shaved ice. This is not your typical shaved ice and was a new experience for me. I asked the owners a few questions and they were more than happy to answer them all. In fact, they offered to let me taste before I decided on what I wanted. Friendly staff, excellent service, great seating and lounge area, and open late. What more can you ask for?

I ordered the green tea shaved ice cream. It was good, but I could barely taste the green tea flavor. I also thought their stuff were pricier than I would have liked for an ice cream ($5.99 for most items). I did like their tapioca pearls that I got as a topping. Also, their Pocky sticks tasted a bit old. The worker that got our order was very good and helpful. I might give this place another chance some time in the future...

This place is fantastic... I has have, much to my dismay, spent FAR too much time in Snowville Shavery. The staff is nice and friendly, it is clean, cool and smells great inside and is a surprisingly comforting change to the Georgia heat. My favorite item is the shaved chocolate "snow", this is, as I am told, a mix of ice and cream to make a lighter version of ice cream. It, in my opinion is WAY better than Blue Bell or other leading ice cream brands. They also have these macaroon ice cream sandwiches, bubble tea, and an assortment of drinks. Needless to say after this review, I LOVE this place and always will. But maybe knock a buck or two off the price.

The place is GREAT. I love the way its set and the people there are so nice. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is cause the bubble tea is awfully bland. There's no flavor and there is a lack of sugar in a lot of them. Healthy? Yes. Tasty? Not quite. I'd like to see more flavors and improvement in quality of bubble tea.

We were looking for a bubble tea place and ended up enjoying the shaved snow as well! We loved the atmosphere, very welcoming and bright. There is typical restaurant tables and high tables as well as a comfy bean bag chair area. We had a lot of fun playing the "heads up!" board game while enjoying our bubble tea and shaved snow. ❄ The coffee shaved snow is not very sweet on its own but we enjoyed it with the caramel syrup... It came nicely presented. It could be good on its own if you don't like things too sweet or if you wanted something frozen on a diet. We liked the taro bubble tea with tapioca a lot. The caramel macchiato bubble tea was pretty good but again not as sweet. This could be a plus or minus depending on your taste and expectation. Besides bubble tea and shaved snow they have french macaroons and you can also get mochi topping on your snow if you like that. Typcial yogurt shop toppings are available including popping boba and there are also jelly pieces if you prefer those in tour bubble tea.
