Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Visited 2 days in a row. First day ordered 2 mini blizzards and neither were filled near the top. Second day ordered one medium blizzard, only had toppings in top 1/4 of cup, rest of cup was plain vanilla ice cream. Drive thru is busy because dining room is closed. The line moves fast but apparently it's because they rush making your order and the lack of quality shows. I get it, labor is hard to find right now, but hopefully things will get better.

I recently went to this Dairy Queen location and ordered an ice cream in a cup. When I got to the window, they had made it in a cone and proceeded to ask me if I could just “eat the ice cream out of the cone” instead of them making the item I’d ordered. After I said that I’d like what I ordered, I was met with frustrated huffs and puffs. I would love to say that this is a one off experience at this location, but it’s not. I will now drive out of my way to not have to come here.

Waited in drive thru for almost 15min because the lobby is closed. Got to the microphone to place order with my grandson and the lady taking the orders was very impatient. We have not been to this store in over a year, poor service the last time. The lady kept asking abrubtly "what else can I get you" before I could even finish giving my order. My grandson kept asking for different things and it was confusing on the menu. She kept rushing to take the order....she intwrruoted me and then said could I drive around the lane again and not hold up the drive theu because she has 15 cars waiting. Her drive thru would ve moving if people could see the menu befire getting to the orser area. She could also have a better attitude. I waited for 15min to get to place my order. Poor customer service and foid was nit that grwat. Wont be back.

I just went to this location and asked for a Dairy free dilly bar and received a regular one. I unfortunately did not check the wrapper before handing it to my daughter who is allergic to dairy. I called the location to let them know of their mistake and to be more careful when it comes to Dilly bars because it can be a deadly mistake. Whoever answered did not seem to care that a mistake was made.

The sign on the door states that the dinning room is closed. I was there to buy a cake for my son and was allowed to come in to look at the cakes. After selecting a cake, I asked the young man leaning against the counter if I could pay for the cake inside. His reply was “we’re closed in here.” I then replied that I understood. If I need to get in my car and pay for the cake, that’s fine. I just wanted to know were I needed to go to pay for it. He again replied that they were closed. So I asked again, we’re do I need to pay for the cake. At this time, a young lady appeared and said, “you don’t need to be rude.” At no point did I raise my voice or change my tone of voice while asking the young man where I needed to pay for the cake. I replied to her, saying that I just asked a question — I would like to buy a cake and wanted to know where I needed to pay for it. “No, you were rude.” Ok. Here is your cake. I don’t want it anymore. And due to how I was spoken to, my family and I will never dine at this DQ again. Train your staff better. There is a reason CFA is always busy. Learn from it.

***Edit*** Gave them another chance and they did the same thing. And were extremely rude when I kindly asked if they put extra fudge in it. They had no problem charging me for something they didn’t give me tho. Every time I come here they don’t make my blizzard right. I order a chocolate extreme blizzard with extra cocoa fudge because I don’t like vanilla ice cream and they don’t have chocolate ice cream. Idk if it’s on purpose but every time they just completely leave out the cocoa fudge. Ughh
