Star Pizza

I don't understand how anyone can eat this food! There are so many better pizza joints, and I wouldn't waste your hard earned money here. Not only is the food just bad, the customer service is terrible as well. I'm not sure how long this place has been open, but I can't imagine it staying open much longer. What disgusted me the most was the cook went to smoke and did not wash his hands. I work in a kitchen myself and this is just so disgusting to me. If a health inspector came in, they would have so many points taken off because it is so unsanitary.

Went out to grab pizza late over the weekend, a near by pizza place had already closed, so I headed to Kroger to get frozen pizza (gag). I have passed by Star Pizza many times, but never ventured in, but I am so glad I did. The owner was very friendly and gave me a great deal for a delicious pizza. I also tried the cheesecake he makes and it was great! The customer service was great and it took less than 10 minutes for my hand tossed, freshly baked pizza. So excited to have found a local pizza shop and will continue to do business there. The menu is diverse with more than just pizza. I definitely encourage you to give it a try!

Incredibly delicious and interesting pizzas. We ordered the Margherita and the Guiltless Mediterranean pizzas and both were perfect. The toppings were fresh and plentiful and the crusts were exceptionally good--it was hard to stop eating! We are looking forward to trying other pizzas and the calzones. The price was fair as well. We picked up our order and it only took them around 20 minutes from when I put in my online order--that was on a Friday night, too.

Great price for a tasty pizza cooked perfectly. That was then. Second time was great also. Third time, I ordered wings - tasted and looked like they'd been under a heat lamp all day. Not even the healthy amount of sauce could soften these! The pizza that time also contained a HAIR! The guy who is usually there does have curly, long, bushy hair, which he does NOT put up. Bound to end up in the food.

So unprofessional! I ordered from here because I enjoy their pizza. The associate told me that the order would deliver in 30-45 minutes. 50 minutes later the manager called me and verified my address and said the order would take yet ANOTHER 45 minutes. That is when I said please cancel my order because my kids are hungry I will go pick up something else. He then hung the phone up on me several times. I was calling back to make sure my payment method would not be charged, he then again hung the phone up. Terrible service!!

I usually don't post things like this. However, this was so extremely bad that I feel the need to now, at least for other local people to be warned. We ordered Pizza tonight from Star Pizza on Roswell Rd. Marietta, Georgia (east cobb) It came burned BLACK and the cinnamon sticks didn't even have icing or sugar mixed in at all. Plain bitter ground cinnamon. The main food complaint here is the burned pizza as you can see in the attached pictures. So we called Star Pizza back to tell them. The guy said he'd send a replacement order. I said I'd rather they didn't send another pizza. I wanted to just have a refund. (As it was we waited over an hour for delivery.) He said they were going to send a replacement. I again said I didn't want it and wanted a refund instead. He started yelling at me and hung up. My husband called back to make sure they weren't going to make another pizza and give us the refund. The store owner yelled at him. My husband asked for his name, so we could keep track of who we were talking to (we had already talked to 3 people at this point.) The store owner said "my name is Joseph Trocone and if you have a problem I'm at 2100 Roswell Rd." In a very threatening tone, then hung up again. My husband looked up Star Pizza on Google to leave a review and saw one just 3 weeks ago where someone left a 1 star and stated had a problem with their pizza and called and the owner was very unprofessional and the owner hung up on them. I wish we had Googled them before ordering.

Always loved their pizza ever since I first had it. I've never had any problems ordering, picking up or being satisfied with the quality. The only stores I've been to are the Roswell and Marietta stores and both are clean and tidy. Kazi from the Marietta store is a great manager and always makes sure the customer is completely satisfied.
