Bombay Junction

My coworker suggested I try Bombay Junction to eat Indian Cuisine fit for a King. He was e ever so right! Each dish was freshly prepared in the open kitchen and the quality of the food was out of this world! The service was very customer oriented and I was provided with detailed information regarding each dish. I recommend anyone with a taste for Indian Cuisine to try it. I can't wait to come back for the Mango Melba!

Nice open kitchen; decor says "Indian restaurant" without being gawdy. The samosa on the veggie sampler was nicely seasoned and as large as my hand. Entrees were outstanding - the chicken Madras is highly recommended. Hosts/staff were accommodating and took the time to explain dishes and make sure everything was satisfactory. Will be going back, possibly switching to Bombay takeout instead of Chinese takeout.

My wife and I visited Bombay Junction on a Saturday evening around 6:30, and the place was completely empty for most of our visit. The owners/staff were very attentive and answered several questions we had about the food and spices. Dinner itself was excellent; I had the Tandoori Mixed Grill and my wife enjoyed the Chicken Xacuti. We also ordered the Garlic Naan, which was brought out warm with the rest of our meal. The only thing lacking was the atmosphere, which was very open and utilitarian. We've come to expect warm inviting atmospheres at the Indian restaurants we frequent, so it was disappointing to not see any bright colors or interesting artwork. However, we would return for the food quality and reasonable prices. Stop by the nearby Bombay Bazaar, an Indian market, while you're in the area!

We've eaten Indian food all over central PA and in other states as well. This is by far the best Indian restaurant we've been to. The diverse menu includes something for all palates, and every dish we tried was fabulous and made to order. The ambiance is understated but effective, and the service is unparalleled. We were made to feel very welcome and appreciated. If you like Indian food, this is one restaurant you won't want to miss.

Visited on 1/13/2015 .Terrible food...I took Vegetable Biryani..There were no vegetables!! Rice was poorly cooked.....Couldn't even eat half of it.. WasTotally Dry..So I ordered Raitha..Even that was bad...Even a roadside Dhaaba or fast food does better than these folks. And price was also not reasonable. Samosa was so bland... I went there seeing the positive reviews and now I realize I should not rely on the reviews or may be it was just our bad luck. My friend who came with me got his stomach upset after eating chicken at this place. Not a good place at all. I would rather go to their store and take some ready to eat food and that would still be better than their cooked food at their restaurant.

I have been frequenting to this place last few months, and found the food and service here outstanding. My favorites here are Andhra chicken curry and chicken korma - they remind me of homemade food. One of the best finds near Harrisburg,PA. My friends and I drive 90 miles from state college just to have food here that's how much we fell in love with this place.I can comfortably say that this is one of the authentic indian restaurants.

The food is fresh and flavorful, and the service is very good. The garlic naan is outstanding, and we've tried many of the entrees (including saag, tikka masala, korma, vindaloo, etc) and never had even an average dish. The ambience is a little impersonal, and it's located in a strip mall - but the food more than makes up for it. Highly recommended!
