Mcdonald's

I have been to McDonald’s in every state and multiple countries. This one is by far the worse. The location is near me so I hesitantly frequent it often. Each time thinking it will be better; I am always wrong. I arrived there the other morning at 6 am and nobody was on the drive thru mic. I went to the window and saw someone one, who also saw me, then she just walked away and ignored me. The burger buns are frequently stale, the orders consistently wrong, fries will be old and cold, the drive thru line is always backed up. Definitely needs new management.

My autistic, non-verbal, cerebral palsy son was escorted out of this restaurant because the manager said that he was unruly as stated on the police complaint form. The manager was yelling at a Muslim lady because he couldn’t understand her and something was knocked over on the counter. She asked for her money back because of him yelling at her. She started crying. My son’s 2 aides tried to assist her and 1 told him he couldn’t treat people that way. At that time he told them to leave. They didn’t because my son was still eating and they cannot leave him alone. The manager then called the police to have all of them thrown out even though my son had nothing to do with the situation and nothing was going on when the officer arrived. Now I will not leave my son go there again because the manager is still there. They would not even tell me if the manager would be reprimanded. I do not take lightly my son having to have a police officer involved when he did nothing wrong. Anyone who has someone they know who has autism understands how changing a routine can lead to devastating consequences. I have called everyone at this location and the corporate office but nothing has been done and corporate never returns calls. They also told me I could get a copy of the video at corporate and they have now refused to provide it. My son went to this McDonald’s on a weekly basis so they were well known as was the fact he is disabled. The manager specifically stated to the police officer that all 3 had to leave which meant my son and his 2 aides. He was totally wrong.

Over the years, I have been going to McDonald’s less and less because my favorite burger, the Big Mac, became less and less of a decent burger. On a road trip a friend demanded we stop. He ordered a specialty burger, something like a steakhouse burger, and I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese. After separating the food, I took a bite of my burger and truly thought I had bitten into his burger. It was like rediscovering McDonald’s all over again. It was freaking amazing. I still miss the fries as they were in the 80s and I would like McDonald’s to do a better job of buying sustainable meats, but I do like McDonald’s again.
