Metropolis Diner

Here on Long Island, we are picky about our Diners. Metropolis is definitely one of the good ones to hit up for a great diner meal. I had the egg salad platter & the chicken orzo soup. My husband had the Philly steak & cheese with fries. Both are excellent! The soup tasted like grandma was in the back, making it. Delish. Loved the coleslaw & potato salad on my egg salad platter. We also ordered a black & white cookie and rice pudding. Also, excellent & rice pudding was homemade & fresh. Love it. I'm definitely going back.

The staff is very welcoming when one comes through the door. The coffee is not weak an is HOT. The menu is large with many different sides to add. They are quick with service. The bathrooms and restaurants are very clean. We all enjoyed our breakfast an with 2 teens that is sometimes hard but there was definitely something for everyone. Thanks for making our trip from Tennessee an our visit to your restaurant a memorable one.

I stopped in after a long day of traveling after seeing that I wanted breakfast for dinner. I received three generously portioned pancakes loaded with nice banana slices. My corned beef hash was nice and crispy--just as I had asked. The hot tea was Lipton--nothing fancy but always consistent. The waitress was very attentive.

Absolutely loved this place. I had a bowl of soup, and this gigantic burger in the "Crazy Burger" section and it was the Philly one. Anyway - WOW. I was able to eat it all, couldn't finish my fries but I'm not kidding it was the best tasting thing ever. Waitress was very nice, atmosphere was quiet and overall was a great place. Delicious food. 😊

This is our (Teslopolis Inc's) new go to breakfast spot when we are on Long Island. The food was great and the give you a lot. Everybody that are took home a to go container. We had the best waitress, she was so nice. They even have souvenir shirts that recognize breast cancer. Champagne quality for soda wallets. The moral of the story is #Testopolis ate at #Metropolis so #Unstopolis

It was an overall great experience for the whole family... good food for a great and fair price - portions were more than enough and it was cozy and welcoming for all. I went with my kids and we all left happy. Definitely planning on going again and would recommend it to anyone who's a foodie looking for a memorable meal.
