Wamba's Mediterranean

Wow. This place is amazing. The staff went out of their way to make sure my plate was "gluten" free and provided some of the best service I've had in a while. To top it off the plate served was delicious. When its comes to falafel this place has it mastered. We didn't have any smoothies but they looked equally delicious. We will be back. Such a pleasure to eat somewhere you know that the staff cares about allergies and goes out of their way to provide top notch service. Stop on by and check them out. Its great!!

Fantastic, whole foods smoothie & sandwich shop! Never had an item on the menu we didn't like and we especially love their Mediterranean selections, fresh fruit juices & wheat grass shots. *Some of our favs are the #17 "Musakhan", the #18, "Lamb & Beef Shwarma", the SF juice (which is tangerine, carrot, lemon), their "Go-Go Gadget" & "Wamba Wizard" smoothies. My wife and I love coming to this place and one of the owners, Amira, is super polite, helpful and is willing to make a wide variety of substitutions & custom orders. We cannot recommend this place more!

I have visited Mediterranean food restaurants all over Southern Oregon, including the new joint in Ashland. Wamba's is the absolute best. You would have to go to Portland to get Mediterranean food this authentic. Their hummus is the best I have had in the area. It is the real deal. The staff is the real deal as well. Kind, always smiling, salt of the earth. I am delighted to have accidentally found this place. Try their lamb over hummus. It's to die for. Also, the beef schawarma is fantastic!

It's been a while since I have been here, but I'm happy to see that they are still making smoothies and the food is still good. The chicken sandwiches are pretty good. The seating inside has slightly changed in that they have diner booths. This is a good place to grab a bite to eat and even have a small business meeting at.

Service was very friendly and the restaurant is in a nicer part of town or seems like. I'd like to give it a better rating but my gyro was 95% meat and very, very little veggies. And said veggies were thinly cut iceberg lettuce, maybe two pieces of cucumber and maybe a lone slice of tomato. But this is just my opinion, I'm sure people out there prefer a heavy meat gyro. I personally don't.

I really appreciate the Middle Eastern women who works the front counter, she's always friendly and accommodating--her husband too! The middle eastern food is delicious. The other employees are also so professional and nice. I also appreciate the chef's that work in the back, they are good people and make excellent food/drinks. I especially love the fresh, raw and made-on-the-spot juices—the Oregon Queen is my favorite! Update: today I went in (1/20/2020) to find that the 20oz Oregon Queen I usually order/purchase went from around $8 in price to $12.24 This price is way out of my price range, thus I will be going elsewhere for my green juice from here on out.

This place was fantastic. I really wanted a gyro while we're in Medford shopping, and this place 💯 hit the mark. My fiance and I usually share a meal, and the chef cut it in half for us without having to make a big thing about it. We we're both stuffed after sharing the gyro, I highly recommend this place for people seeking some eastern comfort food.
