Xilakil Latin Fusion

Visited today for the first time and it was a great experience. Staff was very helpful, and the food was crazy good, and not too expensive! Went with the chilaquiles this time, as it's a childhood favorite, but will definitely be returning to try more of their extensive menu. There was more than enough food for the price, the one thing I wish I asked about was salsa to go on top of the meal. Not sure if they have multiple salsa selections, but I love adding some spiciness to my food.

I’ve had this restaurant for a while on my list of new places to try. About a week ago, my wife, my son and I, were in Medford for the day and decided to try it for lunch. I ordered chimichanga and she had Mole. We were both happy with our choices. The quality was good. The menu had different dishes that you don’t typically see in most local Mexican restaurants. So I will definitely try something that I’ve never had next time. After talking to the owner, we find out that he’s from a city that’s 2 hours away from where my wife was born in Mexico. He told us about his life and how he came about to open his own restaurant. Great story, great owner, delicious food. We’ll be back

I went twice this weekend (10/5-6/19) for brunch. So good the first time I had to go back. Had the chilaquiles and the huevos benitos. I also tried the French toast and rice pudding. Everything was excellent. I had been previously when it was a counter-service restaurant, and am very pleased with the new format. I have had a chance to talk to the owner, Carlos, on every visit and he is a very amiable and conscientious proprietor. The paloma mimosa is top shelf, a brilliant spin on the paloma. I highly recommend this spot, especially given the lack of brunch options in Medford. I was a bit skeptical of the tater tots paired with the huevos benitos, but surprisingly pleased by the chef's choice. The bar, which has a limited stock, has great options for tequila and mezcal (my preferences), along with high end liquors - not a bunch of cheap booze. I also noticed several aspects of the operation which tell me that this establishment will remain a quality eatery and worth patronizing - Carlos is intent on satisfying his customers. Prices are extremely reasonable for what is being served.

This is an awesome place to take your family or a quick bite to eat for your lunch break. They have a very modern and spacious layout. The furniture is very comfortable and the chairs are light weight and quite. This is a destination for anyone that is in the Rogue Valley. They have quality vegan choices and their tortillas are made fresh every single day. Many different types of salsas and sauces. I would suggest that you try a few of them. As far as I know this is the only place that does a California burrito! The owners are very personable and care very deeply that you are satisfied with the service and good before you leave. I will come back again and again !

Don't underestimate it from the location! Medford is lucky to have a spot like this. Unique, flavorful food with a wide range of options that are all done well. And amazing cocktails made by somebody who clearly cares (pictured is an avocado margarita; don't knock it til you try it!). This family run place stands out on all fronts and is definitely worth the visit.

Love this place. Was in town for the week and had the Asada fries and Cubanito, both were amazing! The staff is always so welcoming, friendly and personable. I’ve been here a few times now within the week and it’s been my go to spot! I also had the vegan bowl which had a lot of good flavors. With reasonable prices, portion was more than expected. I came back today for the Churro Bowl and wasn’t disappointed! I’ll definitely be back if I get to stay here again! Thank you!!!
