Honeysuckle Cafe

Went for breakfast on a Friday morning. Enjoyed it very much. Nice menu with lots of choices. Staff was friendly. I had the eggs benedict half size (which was nice to find a smaller portion) my friend had the special which was a "redneck" benedict. 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks $24 so fair prices. Ate every bite of my breakfast and it was delicious! Can't wait to try lunch here !

Stopped in to have lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of ingredients and service. I ordered the Fish Sandwich and it was amazing! The house ketchup was delicious so was the house tartar sauce. I’m a fan of fish sandwiches and this one takes the cake! Looking at the menu I noticed the meatloaf sandwich and wish I had room to devour one of those too! I recommend this place!

With cafe on the name you might be expecting greasy foods and more comfort food selections. However, the HoneySuckle is anything but your typical cafe. With an emphasis on foods sourced from local purveyors and healthy cooking practices, the food is all made from scratch and speaks for itself. The restaurant atmosphere has a fine dining ambiance and an incredibly friendly and attentive staff. I chose the HoneySuckle Cafe to celebrate my mother's recent retirement and was not disappointed with my choice. The appetizer of herb fritters was delicious and the local pear chutney was the star accoutrement. I had the Rib Eye (perfectly cooked medium rare ) with a Moroccan spice rub, served with polenta cakes and a wonderful gorgonzola, walnut cream sauce! Mom had the special: fettuccine with tiger prawns, oregon coast chanterelles, served in a white wine butter sauce and topped with huge chunks of parmesan. Delicious dinner and a great place to celebrate. The HoneySuckle also serves breakfast and lunch in addition to dinner 5 days a week, Wednesday thru Sunday. I cant wait to give the other menus a try. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Just had a vegetable sandwich with tomato, zucchini, eggplant, onion, mixed greens, and goat cheese with gluten free bread (homemade). It was so delicious it really had a wonderful flavor profile. Family had the fish and chips, they ate it in a blink of an eye. They loved it. They said the fries were so slight and fluffy but crispy. The fish that was used was delicious. Definitely give this place a try!

(UPDATE: Very rude owners. Stay away. Read their feedback when anyone gives them tips on how to create a better experience for their guests.) Paying higher prices for quality food is worth it to me. I buy and cook fresh myself and do not eat processed fast food. The ingredients at this restaurant did not taste fresh, was flavorless and vegetables were chewy and some inedible. I wonder if some products used were frozen prior? Microwaved? If I paid half the price, I would still be disappointed, but not as surprised. I'm not saying what I ordered since the business responses on here seem to only focus on how the customer is wrong and why. I don't need an explanation on why my dining experience is not valid according to the company.

Went to breakfast on a saturday morning, was served promptly and the food was absolutely delicious. I had a standard breakfast with sausage links. The sausage was delicious and potatoes were perfectly cooked. The sourdough was perfectly toasted with melted butter pat's ready to be applied. My mom had the short stack. The pancakes were delicious and perfectly cooked. The coffee was really flavorful and went well with the food. I would recommend Honeysuckle to anyone who wanted a delicious, well cooked breakfast.

I sat at a corner table in a practically empty restaurant. As I looked at menu, more patrons came in. I asked about specials and was told there were none. I ordered fish and chips. My waitress went to another table, told them about specials and took their order. Another waitress was doing the same as it had now filled with customers. There were 2 wait people, busboy and a cashier. All pouring waters and checking on customers but me, with my empty water glass. No one spoke to me or checked that I may need something. Food was ok but I have never been treated so rudely as a paying customer in my life.

My husband and I stopped for lunch. We both enjoyed our meal. I had the soup of the day, chicken and dumpling and the Honeysuckle salad. Really good, fresh greens and the dumpling was cooked to my liking. My husband had the Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich with fries. He said the sandwich was dry, but tasty...too much bread. I pointed out all of it, from the ketchup to the dill pickle were house made. We both recommend The Honeysuckle Cafe and would return for lunch or dinner.
