Frosty Boy

I love this place. IT HAS THE BEST & CREAMIEST SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM!!! It tastes real too, and the ice cream maker is old fashioned, everything in that place is (but don't worry, it's well kept and very clean!). I used to go there all the time with my family when we lived closer. The owner, Joan, and her husband have had this fast food place for a while now, actually, a VERY long time. Since before 1970. Joan says sometimes she closes before 4 because she is too exhausted and run down; however, she is a real sweet lady. She also turns off her ice cream machine BEFORE 4 (around 3:45) so if you plan on going, go earlier. She got to know my family and I pretty well for a while, she might seem grumpy at first but understand her frustration. Make sure you are speaking up, not too quiet, and make your order clear, nothing complicated. This place is so old fashioned and welcoming! Definitely go! Great prices too!

The little gal who owns this used to own it with her husband until he passed. She's got to be in her 80s. She still runs it. Handmade shakes and all. We are going today to support her in this crisis. I wish I could own this place someday❤ Good old fashioned burger baskets with great old fashioned service❤❤❤

Great food, excellent prices. I don't understand what people are complaining about. She only takes cash, however $4.99 for a hamburger, drink, and a side of fries. You won't find prices like that anywhere else. It's owned by a little old lady who is the sweetest. She's clearly been doing it a long time and it comes out in her food. It's just like the old style burgers you'd get in the 60's before it all tasted fake. It's very authentic. Her shakes and ice creams are amazing. The little sitting area is quaint. The whole place has a old style, welcoming feel to it. For a family of three like us, if you're in a pinch and need a lunch or dinner to fill you up: 14.97. It can get pretty busy there in the summer, because its a Frosty Boy! Would totally recommend it to my friends, and have! Haven't had one bad experience there. The lady is always very sweet and makes excellent food and a amazingly cheap price. There is nothing to not love.

No idea how she passed the health inspection. It's cash only so she handles cash all day and makes the food with bare hands and I've never seen her wash. The place was probably great 15-30 years ago. But it's slow and gross now but it's cheap. My 8 month pregnant wife went in with our 2 yr/old trying to get a cup of water. Only cash she had was 25¢. The lady was super reluctant to give it to her because it costs 50¢. It was 95° outside...
