Braddock's Tavern

The "Braddock's Tavern" is located in a beautiful historical building. It's a two-story building, and they serve both floors. When it's warm, they offer seats outside. They also have seats on the balcony on the second floor. Braddock's Tavern also has a bar. The servant was very nice, but the service was way too slow. It took us more than an hour from when we ordered to get the main course. Portions are small. I had "Roasted Red Pepper Hummus," "Sweet Potato & Black Bean Chili.", and cheesecake, and I felt hungry. I thought it was only me, but my wife, who had steak and cheesecake, felt the same. The seats are hard, so you might consider bringing your cushion if you are skinny. The selection is not that big, and even from those options, they did not have two options on their menu (T-Bone Steak and Cornish Game Hen). The restaurant has vegetarian options.

Always excellent! Good food, good service, cozy, fun atmosphere...this visit, we had the duck egg rolls, which were delectable, and the French onion short rib sandwich. Hubs had the burger and didn't leave a morsel on his plate, so clearly, a phenomenal burger. I've never had a bad experience here. One of our favorite spots.

This place was raved about for years. my girlfriend and I decided to go give it a try. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were really nice. The food was a different story. I ordered a burger (the standard that I judge pubs/taverns on) and some “make your own mac” Overall it was lackluster. The drinks were okay but it didn’t knock my socks off. I hope that these guys improve a bit on there dishes and add a little extra flair to it. Especially for the premium pricing. I won’t be coming back in the near future.

I would describe Braddock's as "upscale rustic". The bar/lounge friendly while quiet and cozy. Great for a casual date or small group of friends. The restaurant which also has an upstairs provides more of the same but has a much more "button-up" experience with top notch food and service. I highly recommend.

We came into Braddock's for Sunday lunch. We arrived at 2:35 and were seated outside. We waited. And waited. And waited. It wasn't very busy. Staff was waiting on tables. No one even glanced our way. And waited. At 2:55, we went into the host stand and there was no one there. We found someone at the bar who said they would check on who our sever should be. Then we waited some more. At 3:10, we went in again. Finally, at 3:20, a server arrived and we got our drinks at 3:30. We ordered immediately, seeing how this was going. Our food arrived at about 4pm. A mute point to even comment on the food. After waiting 90 min, we were too annoyed. We are are giving it 2 stars because at least the food was "ok". I would have sent the smoked salmon bagel back because it was on a cold, doughy, untoasted bagel but, like I said....after 90 min....I would have eaten sawdust. Was it worth the $120 bill after all? Immediately no. Happy Father's Day to my poor husband.

The only reason I’m rating this a 2 is because the food was great but the service was absolutely HORRIBLE for a buffet. The server is only responsible for drinks and she could not get any right, nor fill our waters. We sat down and it took at least 15min to have a server come to the table. She said nothing and started filling waters (probably the only time because w had to keep asking for more). We started ordering drinks and she said, wait she will be back. Finally came back and again said, nothing about special drinks. Everything we ordered she had to go to the bar and ask because she had no idea what anything was. We got two bloody Mary’s and they tasted like water. My husband has never sent back a drink but sent that one back because it was that bad. They only took off one when we had two that we didn’t drink. Then, while walking by the bar the bartender was talking about our table because we sent the horrible drinks back which, is so unprofessional. My sister never even received the drink that she asked for. I could keep going on how absolutely horrible this service was. They also had plenty of servers for the amount of tables. I wish I knew her name but she didn’t even provide that because she was miserable and didn’t say much. She had red hair though just Incase anyone from Braddocks reads this. She should find a new job because serving is not for her. Then, to cash out it took another 25 minutes. My husband asked another server for our check because after we asked ours she went and cleaned off tables instead of cashing us out. The other server was rude about it and said our server needed to do it. At this point we were absolutely done. I do not know how this place runs with such terrible service!!! Long story short we will NEVER return because of the service and would have rather spent Mothers Day at home.
