The Pop Shop

Cute, family-friendly spot that offers a fun menu and "throwback" feel. My boyfriend and I recently visited and we loved it. The staff was attentive, our food was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant (on the quieter side). Plus it's right in the midst of other cute shops, so it's a convenient place to stop in and grab a bite before browsing around town

First and last time here. The pancakes are very dry even with syrup. I asked for shelled eggs and instead of it being put on my ticket, the server assumed all their eggs were shelled that they served. The cook had to come out and ask 🤦🏽‍♀️ turns out they do have a premix they use after all. Server didn't apologize. The only thing that was good were the pancake fries (they cut pancakes up and deep fried them) nothing special and not worth $8 but was tasty nonetheless. The unicorn grilled cheese was too hard and the cheese hardened quickly. We were forced to pay this same "know it all" server 12.50 in gratuity because they automatically add it to your check when you have a party of 6+. This is something the owner justified by saying "it's always been our policy, my apologies for any confusion." There's no confusion at all. If that's your policy, then it should be posted where paying customers can see. Not once did this server ask if we needed refills or anything or check on how anything was. What am I giving her 12.50 for? The cook did more work than she did.

Great family friendly restaurant. The food is yummy and the service was great. Someone in our party had a food allergy and the server was so helpful making sure all the ingredients were safe. Their ice cream options in particular are a favorite. They also have some fun themed nights to check out with characters, balloons, etc. :)

Built inside an old bank (with the vault door leading into the kitchen), this is a cool, colorful restaurant with a creative menu with something to wet your appetite. I chose, perhaps foolishly, the Bank sandwich (my eyes were bigger than my stomach I suppose). The fried pickles are easily the best I’ve had anywhere.

The service here is always spotty but it’s teenagers at a little diner type places, so I can’t really expect to be treated like the Queen. I would recommend cash so you can just leave when you’re ready rather than waiting for your card back which can take some time, especially if your waiter/waitress is taking other orders. If you have a little one— always ask for a balloon on the way out. They’ll give you one— they’re awful balloons but they last about 6-8 hours and that’s about as much as a kid cares about the balloon. Food is always on point. Ice cream is great. Just lower expectations for service and you’ll have a great time. They always have events although I haven’t been to one in a while. Character dining etc.

My co-worker brought me here today for lunch, and I have to say this is the BEST BURGER AND FRIES I have had in New Jersey. I am shaken to my core not only by how good it was but it the customer service was OUTSTANDING. During this time, customer service is one thing I don't expect when I go out anymore, but both of the front-of-house staff were friendly and helpful. Not only in person but also on the phone when we were ordering ahead. We both left tips, and I HIGHLY recommend Pop Shop for lunch. I cant wait to come back!

I've been here twice. Both times my order was made wrong, remade wrong, and then I'd give up and ask for the check because the rest of my family was long done. It only happens to me though, so take the review with a grain of salt. There's a woman who blows up balloons for kids on Wednesdays. She's beyond phenomenal. 5/5 stars for her. I was happy to tip her and would willing get my order wrong twice to have her make balloons for the kids.
