Ruby Tuesday

Avoid this restaurant! This used to be a nice place for dinner, but this was our second time back in s short while and one of the worst meals I can recall actually paying for. I ordered a promotional steak and shrimp meal at the waitresses suggestion, which was $18 so not a really cheap steak, but surprisingly it was one of the smallest steaks (not a filet) that I've ever been served by a restaurant. It came with 4 shrimp and was improperly cooked. They claimed 6oz., but couldn't have been even 4oz. precooked. I would have said something, but the waitress didn't come back to see how the meal was for at least 15 min and it was a drive-by check. Best I could tell she may have had one other table sat. I saw her peek in/creep a few times, but never really stop. I would have taken a picture of the steak, but after 2 bites there really wasn't much left. It was Friday at about 7:30 and very few people were actually in the restaurant, but the table in the picture below sat dirty nearly the entire hour and a half we were there. They seemed to be fully staffed. The salad bar, which they were famous for at one time was not properly serviced, out of several items and was not restocked in the time we were there. Again, I would have asked the waitress but... The meal came to just under $50 WOW, for a small chicken dish (also overcooked), child's meal and the steak/shrimp. For drinks we just had water and it was refilled only once after finally flagging the waitress down. Another waitress who was working there had her child who was running around the place, as well as a person who was seemingly baby sitting, but that didn't stop the waitress from loudly yelling at her child for playing in and around the poorly maintained salad bar. The only time our waitress seemed to be attentive, almost in a hurry, was after we paid. I did say something there, but no real response. She couldn't however even wait until we left the table to collect the little folder with her tip. We always tip reasonably well, but apparently she doesn't know standard restaurant etiquette. Finally, the bathrooms were filthy and again, they were not at all busy and seemed to be fully staffed. I can only attribute this to extremely poor management. I saw the manager walk around twice, but she didn't stop to interact with a single customer.

Ruby Tuesday = salad bar. Can't go wrong. I ordered chicken dish with mushroom and sauce. The chicken piece was small and dry. Good service, and clean Visited again 2/16/19 Ordered 6 sangria's over the course of 2 hours. No fruit..🙄. On the last drink we were told they ran out of fruit... picture 1 was 1st round...kinda figured... We asked for next round before we we're done with drinks in hand, only to be told we had to finish what was in hand due to lack of glassware.. 😜.. Waitress was fun, needs better management. Visited again: 12/26/19 I don't think I'll be returning, there is always a miss here.. Was told 10 minutes after placing app order that spinach artichoke dip would be taking 25 minutes because it's to frozen. Waited 30 minutes for refills and I walked glasses up to the bar. While the staff was exchanging gifts.. that's okay.. But not being checked on at all was rude. It was 11:20 when we arrived not busy. 20 minutes after my mother and I arrived a table of 4 came in they got their food before us.?..?. My mom and I ordered the same thing. Burger and Mac n cheese. I have to admit that I was annoyed at the very end and grabbed the check from the waitress with sass, but I'm done tipping and spending my money here..

When we usually go everything ends up being much better. My visit today however was not up to expectation. My grandmother and I went in for lunch. We had to wait several minutes to be seated. My side of the table when seated was covered in salt and sticky. We got our original order of drinks quickly. When taking our food orders I had ordered another drink which out waitress had forgotten about and had to be reminded (it happens, it wasn't a big deal at the time). We got our food and my grandmother had asked for cheese and mayo to be added. Neither were on it. There was also no wait staff nearby so we could not call one over to get it fixed. After what I would estimate to be about 10 minutes our waitress walked past and my grandmother stopped her and brought up the issue asking not to be charged. Once we finished we had to ask for the check after waiting once again. Upon reviewing the bill we saw my grandmother's meal was rang up wrong but, not wanting to wait, we left it alone and paid in cash so we could leave. At no point were we asked about our stay, food, or details (other than what I wanted as my side). The food was good otherwise but the service was not what we had expected. My family enjoys Ruby Tuesday very much and on other occasions our visits go well.

The restaurant was not that busy, however service was severely lacking. It was very slow, we sat about 10 minutes before our server acknowledged us and then we waited another 10 minutes before she came back to take our drink order. Food was palatable. Shrimp fajitas were average, the garlic in the alfredo sauce was so heavy, that out of the 1 bite I took, the taste wouldn't leave my mouth. The fish my husband got tasted extremely fishy. The best part of the meals was the coating on my daughter's chicken. We haven't been there in a while and I can guarantee it will be a longer while before we return.

We are always greeted when we walk in. The staff is friendly, the Mgr comes around and checks on us. He is always smiling and thanking guests for coming in. We've tried many items on the menu and like almost all of them. The salad bar is a nice one! Will continue to enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere.
