Romano's Coffee

As tough as Hospitality is these days it’s up to management to train staff how to do the basic things like clean tables and bring salt and pepper to the table, a robot brought my food to the table with out napkins, no salt or pepper, knife handle in the oily mushrooms and I had to clean my table myself. Terrible coffee and very disappointing. A business like this only cares about making money and not investing in staff.

Enjoyed the big breakfast. Well cooked, friendly staff, and acommodating to enhance the experience. Score based on big breakfast only. Easy access via the roof Kmart carpark. Was going to order the Romano's Ultimate Breakfast but chose the smaller Big Breakfast which was a generous portion size, well cooked. The chorizo was delicious. Hard to fault, the elements were good. Iced Vietnamese coffee was ok. Needed more ice which was provided when requested. Stronger coffee to match the expectation of a Vietnamese coffee would have resulted in a higher rating. Aussie Burger with the chips was ok. Burger was average. Needed more sauce and more flavour in the patty. The chunky chips were crispy and soft and fluffy inside. A good chip!

Very poor customer service. Was told to wait while a lady tried to type something on the touchscreen with nails way to long to do anything, she couldn't even type they were that long. After being told to wait for 7 minutes while 4 other people walked past and just looked at me I finally got served with the question what do you want. How polite, NOT. I was only after 1 sausage roll to take away which took 18 minutes all up. Ridiculous. 👎

Have had a couple of issues with this place but this time was the last! As we were waiting for a meals the male staff member (hair tied back) proceeded to roll a cigarette behind the counter for all customers to see. I found this absolutely disgusting and asked to speak with the manager so didn't seem the slightest bit concerned. We got our money back and will not be returning!
