Pascale Bar & Grill

Given its positive feedback that were outlined in many reviews, I decided to book for my 2021 NYE dinner. The location, services and taste, were all satisfactory. It was a decent price, with a notice of extra surgecharged on holiday. The rib eye was marvelous, and the wagyu was almost as close as my expectation. No kids menu here but staff were attentive to minors. Overall, I loved this dining experience.

We had our 10 year anniversary here last night. We had the best time, the ambiance of the venue is amazing, perfect for date night. We started of in the bar we had the most amazing bar tender shout out to Angus. He made us the most amazing drinks. Then we headed in for dinner the service was great, the food was amazing. After dinner we headed back to the bar and had a few more cocktails to end the night we actually wish we planned to stay at this hotel it was so beautiful. We also used their valet parking service. We will definitely be coming to this place again and also want to visit the rooftop bar next time we are down in the city. It’s a really cool vibe this joint we would recommend it.

Ordered a rib eye, medium rare, it was really burnt on the outside and still uncooked on the inside. The manager was really nice about it and offered complimentary desert which was nice and why I am giving this a 3 star and not a 1 star. However, the trifle then tasted like cough syrup … I do not know what happened since this place had really good reviews … also the main waitress seemed to have an attitude which did not help matters …

We ordered one Steak Frites Wagyu and one Smoked Eggplant. The steak was below expectations, parts of it were very chewy and it did not look very appetising. On top of that the fries made it feel very cheap since it’s the kind of fries you get in fast food places. (1 star) The vegetarian dish on the other hand was delicious. (5 stars) The place looks and feels exquisite, but the food is not. At least not from my experience.

Waitresses were rude, no customer service. Ordered the steak with chips and side sauces. Steak came out by itself, had to reask twice for my chips. By the time my chips came out my steak my cold. My sauces came out much after recieving my chips. Very disappointed, have attended numerous times and the staff were exceptional food was amazing. This time round it was a let down.
