We are from regional Victoria and when we come to Melbourne - we love a visit to Hunky Dory!! We absolutely love it! The staff are always super friendly, the food is always fresh and delicious and the portion sizes are so good! I always without a doubt look forward to going to Hunky Dory every time! Can do no wrong!
My go to meal would be: the Calamari with alad and chips - absolutely delicious!!

Nice food! Nice people! The staff are friendly and so nice. Fish quality is good , chips are delicious. Highly recommended this restaurant if you want to eat fish

One of the best tasting fish and chips in town! This was my go to fish and chips shop when I used to live at Port Melbourne. Visited it again after a while. Delicious food as usual. Fish was cripy and flakey. Chips were properly seasoned. Grilled fish options are great too!

My partner and I love this place. We usually end up with the grilled calamari with Greek salad and we love it. Very generous serve and so tasty. A guilt free taste sensation. Have tried a couple of other things as well and they were also great. Staff are friendly as well and food is delivered promptly. Do yourself a favour and check this place out.

Had a craving for grilled fish, all weekend!
My Partner & I both ordered the grilled seafood salad, which came with the THINEST piece of fish - it was like they only served one piece of fish between us, & slithered it in half!
Rest of the meal was fine, but just really disappointed with the fish.
We’ve dined at other outlets before, & never had this issue….. 🫤

Great place to sit and have a good meal of fish and chips. Lots of choices on the menu. Good size servings. If you sit outside you will need to watch the locals. They will steal the food off your plate, so be on your guard. Grilled barra was good. Only disappointment was they don't serve coffee.

Grilled Barra was beautiful! The brown rice is tasty and so nice to see over the white rice. We had a lovely meal here with the family. Will be back when in Melbourne I’m sure . 😊🙏🏼
