High tea here was OK but not that special. The food looks good but doesn't taste as amazing as it looks. I was quite surprised how dirty the carpet was and hoped that my girlfriend wouldn't notice. The sofa I sat on also had multiple stains and looked very dated. Service was rather indifferent and I had a waitress lean across my lap from my left to pour tea. I was amazed she didn't spill it in my lap. Whoever trained the staff here did a very bad job. The decor is nice but I won't be back. This is not good value for money since the lousy staff demean the experience of eating here.

had high tea here, food was ok, average. service was not not on par with what langham should be. we had the bottomless bubbles package, but everytime I finish my glass, it takes forever to get someone's attention and to refill my bubbly, by the time I asked for 3rd glass refill, she told us this would be the last glass as they were closing high tea and getting ready for lunch. I undertsnad there is a 2 hour limit and agree with this, however if you are not going to refill empty glasses then why call it bottomless bubbles??? i would prefer just order my own bottle of bubbly seprately, at least i can refill my glass when it needs to.

Visited 21st May. I booked a reservation approximately 4-6 weeks ago for a belated Mother's Day high tea for three at the aria lounge. My mother is disabled so I was inticed by the Valet service mentioned on the website. Unfortunately on our arrival we were advised that this service does not extend to patrons of the restaurants but only the accommodation guests, however that is not outlined on the website. I was told that we needed to park in the Wilson car park and when I asked about disabled parking I was not assisted in any way. Upon entry we were directed to the lift and up to the Aria lounge. Once out of the lift we stood and waited to be seated for an acceptable amount of time. Once seated we were asked which package we would like and was told the cost of each which I found strange as I had reserved the sparkling wine option and was not happy my mother now knew how much it cost given it was a gift. The waitress poured our sparkling wine which she overflowed a glass, however did not return to clean up the spill. I had to use the sanitiser wipe. We had to get the waitresses attention to order tea and coffee it was not offered to us on arrival nor when the food was served. The menu that was set on the table did not correspond with the food that was presented to us. It also appeared that there were missing items on the menu. We only received 5 of the 6 sweets and again they did not match what was noted on the menu. The bathroom smelt like there was an issue with the plumbing... backed up sewerage? Overall it did not reach the expectations one would have for The Langham Hotel. Extremely disappointed as it was a gift for mothers day. Will not recommend

Mmm..for the price, I thought the food and service was underwhelming. The tuna and the arrancini ball was good for the savoury but the meat pie was dry, the lobster tart was too fishy and the pastry was blonde and the chicken sandwich was also dry and under seasoned. The desserts were okay, the panna cotta was the best one for me, the chocolate square was quite nice and the scones were decent. The service was good. At a classy venue, I would have expected for the plates that were used to eat savoury dishes to be swapped over with clean ones once we started eating desserts. We also weren't offered tea or coffee. They were very polite though and filled up our champagne glasses as much possible (we had bottomless champagne). The atmosphere was quite nice though. The place screams old money and nostalgia, which I personally liked. I probably won't be coming back here for high tea though, perhaps just a normal coffee with a friend and scones to share.

My daughter loved her first [Barbie] High Tea event, these school holidays. It was a definite treat. My high tea (adult version) had significantly shrunk in size and was a good 2-3 items smaller than regular yet the price remained the same. She reported that the actual cupcake was "yuck" but ate all the frosting. Her favourite item was the popcorn (?!?) and as much as she loved her special experience I'm not entirely sure we'll be back anytime soon as there are many more high tea options nearby that I'd rather experience. The price was $69 for the kids (was $49 only two years ago) and $75 for the adults, plus valet. Worthwhile, but was expecting a little more wow value for the juniors.

I took my mum here for high tea. $150 for 2 people. This tier is what we were served and included a coffee. The one star is for the lovely waitress but mum and I literally spat out the bottom plate of the food. There were pre prepared sandwiches that were clearly refrigerated after they were prepared. Definitely not 5 star. I wish I read the reviews before I took her. When the managers asked how it was, we told them it was very average and they said ‘sorry about that’. 🤷🏼‍♀️
