Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the foods as much as expected. they were a bit tasteless and oily. Staff watching us a bit oddly as well ( I personally didn’t feel comfortable). However, food portion was big as we couldn’t finish them all). Thanks 🙏

Good place to have a quick lunch before launching to the market. Our fave meal from here is the laksa dan char kwei tiau. Decent size place if u come with a big group.

DISGUSTING… my partner was halfway through eating his Roti bread when he came across a giant marinated blowfly in the peanut satay sauce 🤮🤮🤮 We contacted the restaurant and they said they couldn’t give a refund for the food and instructed we drive back to “replace” the sauce… Such poor customer service (I wish I could give 0 stars). I have contacted food safety to inform them of the issue as this blowfly would have been marinated in everyone’s satay sauce from today’s orders 25/01/2022 (or god knows how long they keep the sauce for)… YUCK

Portion was generous, in fact too huge for an Asian stomach. For such taste in ang moh place, this is a good deal. However, if I were to benchmark vs. Penang/Malaysia gastronomical standard, it's slightly below. Char keu tew lacked of "wok hei", prawn noodle and white curry laksa somehow the taste not fully absorbed, though soup is OK, likely because of the mihun and mee (noodle) used are different. Today's day 2 lockdown lifted in Melbourne, rules aren't strict here for dine in (need not show Vax cert) which can be a deterrent to risk averse ppl. Perhaps best to take away. Staff service is good, overall it's still worth trying, very close to home if you miss Malaysian food.

Dissapointing!! Was so excited to try out this place. All the food I ordered was only half cooked! On the surface, it looks cooked but the inside is still raw! What is more dissapointing is when I informed the owner, he brushed it off by saying it is like that, expecting us to eat it??? I mean, the meat fillings inside the wantons are raw... slimey, pink and transparent ! Same goes with the chicken satay, chicken curry and prawn sambal! Not satisfied with the response and I called him again to let him know we can't eat the food , he took back the wantons and satay and made us another batch but it's the exact same situation! This is an indication that the food here is not fresh, they probably put the food in the freezer for too long and when there is an order, they cook it quickly hence all the meat is uncooked. I left without touching the food, it's not edible! The Nasi lemak was no better.. the prawns were transparent and slimey and the chicken, again raw. Maybe they have a new cook or are just struggling post-lockdown, but $45 down the drain, and I'm still dry-wretching at the thought of slimey, raw chicken, prawns and pork.

Got a bonus beetle in my meal 🤢🤮. The food is extremely oily and the boiled eggs are so old and rubbery. Rice was super broken and mushy. Staff couldn't care less when I returned it and just asked if I wanted another one. As if.

Was excited to try out but turn out bit disappointed. Nasi lemak taste like fridge and rendang were heat up by microwave, try their char kuey teow and it a bit oily and too spicy . Probably just we not enjoy that much the taste but no offence for others to try out .

Cheap tasty Malaysian restaurant. Fast friendly service. Update 09/18: the curry laksa isn't too bad. It's creamy and quite generally portioned. Customer service had also improved since 2016. Bumping back up to 4 stars Update 09/16: this place seems to have changed management. The staff are a bit of hit and miss. Some are friendly and some seems to be hating life. Foodwise the quality is still there so its such a shame to see the service level drop a little. Also this place is cash only.
