Great little bar, we'll decorated and with nice vibe. Toilets were clean and there is an outdoor area for the dirty smokers. Loved the pinball parlour upstairs. 😉

The aesthetic and soundtrack are awesome! Comfy lounges, nice outdoor area, solid theme, fun pinball machines, and the best part - the talented and super lovely staff. The bartender Pedro is great and made super delicious cocktails. Recommend :)

Had an awesome experience! Just found this bar when looking for somewhere to play boardgames! And I definitely recommend! Loved the style of the place and Sydney was such an amazing bartender. Would give a 6/5 if I could!

If you wish to recreate part of your youth, but as an adult and with alcohol then this is a good place to go. A nice variety of beer, cider, spirits, cocktails and shots on the menu while the venue is packed with board games, a beer garden, and to top it all off, a hidden passageway that leads up a narrow flight of stairs to pinball machines and old school Nintendo 64 set up!

Lovely bar right by the Vic Market. The drinks are very good, and the pinball games make the environment lively. Highly recommend to visit when in Melbourne! Sydney made a cocktail that changed my world.

Sampled less of the bar & pretty much went straight on up to the Pinball Paradise floor; which features a wide range of machines!
One machine was broken to a point we needed to grab a staff member to refund games from that, and a few others could use a little bit of very light maintenance.
But otherwise a great little outing!

Sydney, the bar staff at Island was very friendly and made some wicked cocktails. The hidden staircase, pinball and other board games make this spot a must see in Melbourne. Will definitely be back soon!
