Stage 4 restrictions have been tough... I’ve always liked going out for dinners and have enjoyed all my meals at Cohanh! So happy to hear that they are now doing DIY meals delivered straight to your door. The Cohanh chefs do all the hard work, chopping, preparation and cooking! You just need to finish it off and plate it.
We got the Wine and Dine meal for two which also came with a bottle of Rose 😊 such generous portions for two people. Boyfriend said all the dishes were outstanding! But the one we liked the most was definitely the tamarind pork belly! I could eat that all day everyday! Next up with be the Canadian scallops and chicken red curry.
the perfect meal was then finished up with a delicious Vietnamese flan! ❤️
They’re delivering up to 35kms from the CBD which is great because not all restaurants are delivering to all the outer suburbs of Melbourne.

The food service here was a tad slow, however, the food more then made up for it. We got the $25 lunch deal and it was super good. It includes a starter, a main and a drink which is a great deal. The food was delicious and cooked really well, definitely recommend this place.

Feed-me menus are becoming more and more popular and @co_hanh has made their mark! We had an incredible Vietnamese feed-me dinner $35, with such a wide range of dishes like the special fried rice - packed with flavour, and the signature fried chicken - crispy, spicy, delicious! We had whole roasted flounder with meat that just fell off the bones, but the highlight was the charred bone marrow - if you’ve never tried it, it’s an absolute must try! Creamy, buttery and rich, you won’t regret it! We had the perfect ending with the banana pudding and it was one of the best we’ve ever had. It’s a must order!

This is the first time we tried Vietnamese BBQ in Australia and what a great experience it was. Place can get a little smoky but it's worth it. We ordered the meat and seafood banquets for 4 of us and it was plenty. We get some charcoal rice paper and get to make our own roll with it. Place can fit maybe around 40 people so you get that intimate vibe.

First time tried Vietnamese style BBQ. Very interesting and different from other countries. Vietnamese style dipping sauces come with BBQ is very nice and unique. They also provided sping onions oil to enhance BBQ meat flavor which is a very good idea. Love it. Apart from the messy ordering and changing tables at the beginning, also the needs to improve ventilation, food overall are good. My favorite is the lamb and pork in stick. Full of flavor without the needs of sauces. However the pok belly and chicken wasn't good. Pork belly doesn't looks and taste like pork belly cut. It looks like wrong cut, which is not matching with menu. And no flavor. Chicken can taste with marinated, but not strong enough. Also tried salted egg broccoli, which have no salted egg flavor. This restaurant is considered small, inside an alley. Booking is recommended if more than 4 people. Also, must mention BBQ table if prefer BBQ. Very limited BBQ tables at the restaurant. Car parking nearby. Very convenient with public transport.

What you should order: Co Hanh Lager, soju boy, Hanoi spring rolls

🌿 Co Hanh prides itself for being a new school Vietnamese eatery, which blends their grandmother’s recipe with other popular asian flavours.
🍸we started off with cocktails. A combination of watermelon soju and gin (soju boy) caught my eye, and I enjoyed it immensely - they were not too diluted. The cute watermelon haribo snacks were a bonus! My partner’s lager was also refreshing and he enjoyed it so much that he got another one (despite drinks being excluded from the fork offer).
🍗 Highlights in our meal were the crunchy fried chicken and the Hanoi spring rolls (tasted a bit of mushroom alongside the mince pork fillings which was great). The curry sauce that accompanied was not as spicy as we had hoped, but went well with the spring roll pancake.
🆗The pork belly was a bit of a let down. There was insufficient flavours that went with the meat, so much so that we used the spring roll pancake curry to go with it. I loved the additional salad on my bahn xeo, but thought the batter wasn’t as crispy and delicious. Personally, I also preferred the traditionally made Vietnamese pancake and it’s probably my fault for ordering this at a fusion place!
Having said that, I must say that this place has very affordable pricing for a cbd restaurant. With a 50% discount, my meal came down to an astonishing $40. Drinks were also $10 each (and they offer happy hour cocktails!). Amazing stuff!

Entrée was great however the mains let it down. I understand they are somewhat of a fusion on Vietnamese food but we didn't enjoy the pancake which we found a little doughy and hard to eat in places. It was also pretty oily. The lamb was also very fatty. The service was ok. Maybe worth going to try again in the future.

Went here spur of the moment for a light dinner the other night and was very pleasantly surprised. The space is cosy and cool and offers a contemporary spin on (predominantly) Vietnamese fare. My partner and I shared the crispy tofu noodle bowl which was light and fresh and very veggie heavy. We also tried the eggplant, topped with an assortment of crunchy elements and served in a bed of spring onion oil and shiso. We rounded everything out with even more spring onion by way of the delicious pancake with peanut sauce. Every bite was delicious and every item I was tempted by but didn't order sounds just as good. Can't wait to go back for the salted egg broccoli and cauliflower ragu.
